A-A-A, A ROYAL FLUSH?????????? No, I shall remain calm. I know your schemes, you are trying to bait me into using possibly all three dragons, just because you think I'd notice that those are spades, the weakest of the 4 suite. I know you still have your uno deck, you'd use a skip card to de-summon my dragons for a time, and use some underlying trick.
Ditto, I use you! Transform into a Home Depot Employee!
AhHAHhAHAHAHAHhAHHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHHH. Once again Cryodawn, I have the upper hand, while I admit used almost all my tricks, it seems that it won't be needed. But I must be sure, No, I will be sure!
UGHHHHHHHHH, the bombings for the last month have been harsh. To think I'd be widdled down this much by a mere peasant. Clearly, I was mistaken on that though, there is no way you are a mere peasant, I think it's time to reveal yourself...
Besides all that, I have been reshuffling my deck over and over, do not think I spent the last month doing anything. Behold, my small force of 3 Blue eys white dragons!
AHhhhhHhhHHhHh, Soon I will be able to summon the order of frogs, then you'll have no choice but to hand over the "e's"!!!! There is no longer room for peace!
Sargent Cryo, you though you have bested my company and I, we have ties in foreign forces, we have already prepared an Ice Wall, I'd like to see your puny tanks get through!
You didn't read the fine text! It clearly states that you must spend at least one 'e' in order to get full benefits. You are hear-by restricted to 3 'e' or higher purchases on your account.
To repel this this restriction, type 'e' 49 times.
I speak Bahasa, my skills are minimal. But I mostly talk to English to my friends and outside people who know English. At home I talk English and Tamil. Surabaya? That's nice.
I guess you could say that haha, and true, I honestly do think the only way I’ve gotten this far into anime isn’t just because of my high stressthreshold, but because I can sort the good and bad aspects of a show fairly quickly and learn to find some way to make peace and reconcile with those things - or just tear them apart and make myself laugh with its stupidity lmao. But you’re quite correct; the greatest threat to this logic isn’t a show that’s bad - it’s a show that’s fucking boring. These are the worst type of shows in the medium, imo, something that doesn’t challenge and preconceived notion and just repeats… basically everything we’ve seen before; which is sadly quite common in this medium.
*Sigh* As for Re:Zero…… yeah… I hate it lol. You can tell I hate it just from my tags lmao. I find it to be an abhorrent, frankenstein abomination of literature.
I do NOT hate Re:zero because it's that critically flawed. ... I mean, yeah, it is. O.o But it's not why I hate it, hell something like Madoka Magicka has way more plot holes than this show ever has. I hate it because: It's cowardice. This show hurt me, and offended me on a level far beyond anything critical, hence the rating. How did it hurt me? I LOVED the concept, you have no idea how much this show interested me when it first aired. I followed this shit weekly--and followed it hard. I was on EVERY community discussion board talking about it, not even on MAL but other places. This was my crack. While similar works have been done before, the opportunity we have now to explore this in an anime medium is AWESOME! .... Here's the problem. It has to be an anime. It has to have tropes. It does NOT trust itself, or its audience, to enjoy it without having otaku pandering, cowardly BULLSHIT! Of course we have to have hot loli waifus! They wont buy it or enjoy the story otherwise! Of COURSE it has to be about a teenage, self insert protagonist shoved into another world. Of COURSE we have to have the edge and tragedy--WITHOUT EARNING IT! Re:Zero exist in a dichotomy, there is no way for me to immerse myself in this world when I cannot take it seriously, it does NOT respect me, it wants me to like it from otaku tropes alone. At its best it is decently written, I will give it that, but what's the point when this is a show designed to get me to spend money? That's all I see every time I watch it. It does not do ANYTHING with the tropes, they're just there. Sitting There. Like a stagnating, eyesore that serves no purpose.
I think Re:Zero is one of the few shows that would benefit from it not being an anime. O.o And giving it to a more serious author. It's too controlled. It's too capitalistic. I do not feel attached to anything because the characters exist as constructs and tropes incarnated, the only thing I can enjoy is the storyline, and even then don't get me STARTED on the art style, the world is far too colorful for this grim-dark fantasy, the character designs are too childish, the dialogue makes me want to legit throw up, I literally burned the light novel because I could not stomach it, nor desire to return it and possibly subject someone to it. No, I'm sorry, I know there is something in this show, and that's why I hate it so much. There is SO much potential here... but it's wasted. O.o The show never trusted me, and in turn, I refuse to trust it. On principle.
This show takes an amazing idea, the equivalent of a puppy--feeds it junk food and garbage--then slaughters it with a rusty machete. I am stuck, in constant, trying to figure out why people praise this show? O.o It's not even close to compelling as Stein's;Gate, it's much more complex and mature older brother--a show I don't even like. It's waifus are.... okay, to be honest, the only reason it's popular, I know. =.= But why do critics like it?! I have no idea what they see in it, the bright color pallets and waifus helped to mark the stark contrast of the shows disturbing and incredibly dark themes? ... Are people honestly praising a common trick in art, that is so cheap at this point it's silly? The: Making something cute scary, idea? .... You're praising an anime, for using an over one hundred year old horror trope?! Are you people mad, ignorant, or both?! O_O That's no more silly than praising a creepy pasta for having the story revolve around a chain mail that makes a scary little girl in a dress kill people who doesn't spread the chain mail! .... I'm not joking, that's not a false equivalency, you're praising a show for doing something amateur writers on the internet have done! I don't CARE! That trick is cheap, old, not gonna work anymore. And that's not to say I'm totally stuck up and dislike that.
I cannot tell you how legitimately terrifying The Promised Neverland was for me to read, you've probably guessed by now but it uses a sort of Disney-esque style mainly, which makes the horrifying moments, well, all the more horrifying. Here's my problem: That's an easy trick. It's not new, frankly, and the concept of something sweet and innocent turning into something horrifying cannot hold something alone. I like to think of the puppet and string metaphor when used with art. All art, no matter what, is an illusion. It is, at least a secondary goal of every art piece to, in some capacity, make you forget this is an illusion. In basic: Make your show so good--I forget it has flaws. RE:Zero did not do that, and therefore, the trick did not... trick me. I didn't care about the art style, and eventually that becomes irrelevant.
Subaru is an annoying, crying little bastard--who does not earn the tears he sheds. My god, people told me Shinji Ikari was a pain in the ass to watch, at least Shinji had reasons. Subaru is crying because, yeah, everyone in his world is dying, he's forced to repeat it and there's nothing he can do to save them, this only emphasized because in the real world he has no friends, and now the closest thing he had to them are being killed left and right. Good idea, right? YES! That is! ... Too bad this doesn't work because the characters he likes have little to no reason to be cared about, once again, they're empty shells, there is literally NO reason to care about them besides being cute. I do not care, dammit, I don't, by the end of the show I was literally wishing for them to die. Subaru is the only thing I found decent about this show because I can relate to his scenario, there is a tinge of empathy in him, he's this cocky kid that gets quickly thrown back to reali--... no, something worse than reality, something he really cannot control, he was the closest thing I had to enjoyment in this show, but he is mired in the rest of the writer's incompetence, it's honestly quite a shame.
I could keep ranting but, ultimately, I feel as if that would be futile, because as you can see this is based on passion, not critical nature, and that's ultimately rage nobody really cares to subject themselves to. Re:Zero is a mess critically, but not the worst thing ever, I hate it personally... a lot. It is, without a doubt, the most disappointing, not even show, but work of fiction I have EVER seen in my life. It is literally every way to screw a good premise up. I almost have an urge to make it the subject of a writing class at my local library.
Jojo is always a very over the top cool anime. But part 3 is different from part 2. Part 3 is kind of boring and repetitive but try and overcome it. The rest are amazing.
Oh, actually I'm not Indonesian but I was born and raised over here. I'm Indian. But not the typical indian accent people, it's just my nationality. I've been living over here for my whole life. But I'm 0% Indonesian, just born here that's it.
