It does not set out to be heartwarming, gross or that interesting.
Its just a short harem with loli's.
And it succeeds, being a good snack in between longer more serious anime for me. The neighbour author girl and Sagiri are the most fleshed out and thats fine I guess. As usual the shy girl isn't fleshed out more then "shes in love with MC, and is shy".
Other then that I really enjoyed watching it, one of the things standing out to me where the few quick-paced gay jokes.
Subtle-ish, and not drawn out at all.
