Half-assed "strongest reincarnated to save the future" story. They skip out on a lot of information I would have liked to have had. The pacing was seemingly all over the place it seemed to only escalate as the story progressed. Also I have never seen a more forced swimsuit arc in my life, the approach of "poof we are here now let me explain" that the author seemed to do for it really irked me. The power system seemed quite cool, but was hardly explored upon & the fights could only be described as a jumble of words and unimportant abilities seemingly pulled out of

Truthfully I had began reading this as an accident, but I can say it was quite a pleasant surprise. Initially I had some issues with the initial pacing of the story, as said in a few other reviews they skip over key information early. Some things such as why MC is a blacksmith in the first place are seldom explained. But outside of the beginning of the story I saw no real issues with pacing. Stylistically it seems rather standard for the period. I found they executed very common character cliches quite well. At the time of reading I wouldn't say there is a particular

If you are looking for a developed / rich story or characters this is not for you. Saying that if you like super standard isekai this is worth reading. The main issue I encountered whilst reading was just how quick you meet characters, and how little they mean to the story as a whole. Its incredibly overwhelming to be introduced to new characters every other chapter and having to hope you remember them 10 from now where they are actually used at all. Not much to offer in regards to story, but was a fun way to kill time. My "objective rating" is a 6

Kenja no Mago

So to preface Kenja no Mago is a show which I have seen over 30x since it aired (I do not understand the rewatch mechanic on MAL).
Kenja no Mago is a somewhat unoriginal isekai that has fun with what it is. Starting with the MC, hes a bit thick skulled and not the most aware of what is and is not normal which the show plays with a lot specifically in regards to power and romance, but the people and world around him in general. The main appeals of KnM would be similar to shows such as Misfit of DK Academy and similar where he ... Jul 21, 2020
So I finished rewatching "Arifureta" and can confidently say it was absolutely terrible. My first time watching it I loved it, but the second time around I noticed it didn't really have anything eventful. It was a generic "betrayal to badass" stories except nothing happened once again. If you want a mediocre harem with no real character development after episode 2 this is your show. This is by no means the worst show I have seen, but it was by no means good. The show is special. It somehow made an already bad template for anime somehow worse whilst maintaining generic. Now lets get

The second worst show I have ever seen. The show is just a mashup of cliches for the point of having cliches. Absolutely nothing, and I mean nothing happen over the 12 episodes of the show. Only two characters in the show are remotely likable, and the show overall makes little to no sense at all. The theme song is horrific, and the animation looks dated about 12 years. I do not know why this show ever existed. I am honestly confused as to the score of this show as it is genuinely shite. Even for the genre of isekai this is disappointing. I think
