If you like any type of vampire fiction, you'll love this. I'll keep it spoiler free just so my shining review will shine through.
NightWalker" Mayonaka no Tantei is cliched and definitely a bit campy at times, but it's expert work of episodic stories makes each episode an exciting look at the characters' (mostly Shido's) past, with a payoff in the end. There is literally nothing to hate in the anime, a great jazzy detective OST, a really nice art style, compelling short stories, and... cough cough.... bit of yaoi. Sometimes the tropes are overplayed, but there's only so much you can do with vampires.
