Well, This movie does not qualify to make it on my top 50 to watch, maybe wait until its dubbed to english, with some good voice actors, it may be slightly more tolerable.
I have based my scoring on the DVD import, which the language is in Korean with english subtitles. I also watched the movie twice today to get my thoughts on this movie rounded off. Granted this movie is just slightly longer than 1 hour in length, that is a tight time frame to properly present a whole story.
STORY:
I was disappointed with the overall story

because of its choppy nature, as there wasn't much effort given to the 'transitions' from scene to scene, it seemed like it bounced around from place to place too much as well. It did not feel like the "story" was presented smoothly, that being one of the reasons. I feel that there needed to be much more story detailing. The birthday party scene for the blond kid did not help improve the story line, it was wasted and could have been used for other important parts of the actual story. Additionally, many events that took place in the movie were poorly explained at best. I think that a 3 for score on the story was appropriate. Although, I could be missing out on some things by possibly poor subtitles, but i dont think it would make that huge a difference.
CHARACTERS:
There was close to zero character development, I did not have a sense of connection to any of the characters by the end of the movie. There is also the appearance of new characters to the story with no explanation, didn't make it any better. Some of the character designs were really good, but that blond kid in that picture up there looks bad, and its worse in the move. The way that the characters moved looked very unnatural at times, but good or very good at others. I would expect more from a CG movie made after 2000, It was much lower quality than 'Final Fantasy, The Spirits Within' (produced around the same time), not that i would expect anything to be as good as something made by Square Enix, ever. I honestly feel that good, hand drawn characters would have been more enjoyable, or to have fixed the bad parts that stick out as much as they do.

ART:
Aside from the few flaws of the characters, the rest of the graphics looked really good, and i thought that the Mechs looked good in both design and in movement.
SOUND:
Good sound quality, no complaints. The voice acting was pretty good too. That blond kids voice made me want to punch him in the face tho......... frequently. That kid really did not help this movie for me.
I hope this will be helpful If you choose to watch this ( I paid $8 for my copy, but i would have chosen 'other methods' if i knew what i know now, and if those 'methods' were available, lol )
