I absolutely adored this show, ending and all. That seems to be a fairly unpopular opinion, but hear me out. (no spoilers btw)

The main cast of four girls spend their time beating up physical manifestations of the trauma of kids who committed suicide. Each of them has a friend who committed suicide who gradually come back to life as the girls beat more monsters. It is beautifully animated, beautifully written and made me cry... five times.

Psychological horror is my jam. I don't know how I got here, but it truly ... is my favorite genre in most media. This show is plenty gory while successfully making you care about all the characters main, supporting, victim of the week, all of them. Every single one of them is so well written and human. The four main kids are not always nice to each other. They're teenagers, and they're stupid, and traumatized,. They make mistakes but they still care for each other.

The four main characters are fourteen-fifteenish, and they aren't framed like anime usually frames early teenage girls. They are framed like kids, they are written like kids. There are parts where they are in the bath or the shower, to showcase scars or a character having an idea. Their bodies are just a part of the scene. You don't see their genitals or a weird close up of their legs. It's just a kid doing their routine. It's not sexual. I know this sounds weird to bring up, but it is so refreshing to me. As a person who only started watching anime this year, I've seen some seriously messed up framing of teenagers in anime. It's just nice to see a show that allows kids to be kids, and also ya know murdering trauma monsters.

The ending is by no means satisfying, but I think it kind of had to be that way. The whole recap thing was annoying. I love Ai's little smile though, that made me cry.

Ai is a wonderful main character, and a painfully accurate representation of depression and grief. Neiru is so cool and weird (she's just like me fr). Rika is flawed and awful, but a good daughter a kid who's learning. Momo is wonderful and sweet and certainly a trans girl and I love her. I love these characters and I hope you will give them a chance if you haven't already <2

This is a really cute manga from what t I've seen. I love the art style, and it seems to subvert some common bl tropes. The traditionally seme-looking one is extremely nervous around the smaller uke-looking one, and it's pretty cute.

There are only 3 translated chapters available at the moment. I am marking it as complete because there are only 4 pages of results on English google, and the only translator hasn't done a chapter in 200 days which is abnormal for them. This is pretty solid evidence that there isn't going to be an official translation because there is no demand. If you have ... like half an hour to kill, read it, I didn't get too attached, so hopefully, you won't either.

Unfortunately, I am unable to attempt to learn Japanese at the moment, as I am *attempting* to learn French and Mandarin. Perhaps one day I'll be as cool as you translators and not a monolingual freak. Thank you to _hien_ for the translation !!
