If you like yaoi with their fair share of "dark" content, either one are on the same level of material. You can even argue that they're interchangeable. Visually speaking, the main couple involved look identical and both couples' personalities are strikingly similar, if not the same. No joke. The ukes? To some extent - trashy. But eccentric nonetheless. Cunning, no doubt. The semes? Simple with temperaments so mellow they put their partners in place. Therefore, expect very, very, very, similar relationship dynamics. As for the differences, they're pretty subtle. Other than general plot, perhaps the biggest difference between the two manga is that YataMomo has more character development and relational build up. YataMomo hits on plot substance and highlights the character's past. BSSM on the otherhand, there isn't much focus on that part. It's mainly focusing on the relationships rather than the background itself. In other words, how the couple turned into lovers. Either way, in my utmost humble opinion, these two manga are interchangeable given that they have their fair share of "dark" material.

Nekoka Danshi no Shitsukekata

Not only are the appearances similar, but the attitudes/personalities too. [Comparing Haru to Shiou and Ren to Michiru] For example, Ren traveled overseas to Japan to see his older brother Haru (essentially living with him) while Shiou traveled to Japan to live with his older brother (Shiou) as well. Not only that, both Haru and Shiou are known to draw attention from females. ADD TO THAT, the main couple [the brothers] aren't even blood-related. With out a doubt, if you like Super Lovers you may like Nekoka Danshi no Shitsukekata. Though, there is a supernatural twist within the NDnS which makes the relationship between brothers a necessity to bear, with a heavy responsibility coming from Michiru. Whereas in SL, it's more of a slice-of-life/dramatic and it focuses more on the feelings of both brothers, development of the relationship and moral beliefs in their roles as a "brother". Generally speaking, both Haru and Shiou have similar responsibilites with the younger brother. When you read the two mangas, you can definitely see the similarities. All-in-all, they're two great reads especially if you're into age gap, [half-]brother complex and bishounens then you must read both of these series.

Right off the bat by reading the summaries, both of the main character's [Ame in Bokura no Negai and Takara in Anitsuu! ] father remarry and they become the eldest brother of 3. However a big difference between Ame and Takara is their personalities and interactions towards their brothers. While Ame is composed and hardworking to provide for his new family, Takara is often dorky and clumsy. Takara is more cheerful and outspoken than Ame. While the youngest brother in Bokura is quirky and outgoing, so is the youngest in Anitsuu! but a tad bit more shy. A notable similarity between the 2nd youngest brother in both mangas is that they are difficult communicate with and are both seen to think and feel indifferently. As for the oldest however, they are introduced as easy to communicate, considerate and top students but the odd twist to the older brother is.. rather shocking when you read into chapter 2. There are a lot of similarities between the two manga but essentially they have a twist that makes them both unique. Oh and before I end this! If you've noticed, the 3 blood-related brothers in Bokura end their names with -to and the 3 blood-related brothers end their names with -ki.
