The first episode might be misleading, but after the 2 or 3 episode then it start going into the storyline of the anime. I gotta say that my first impression of Ga Rei isn't good because all I saw is people fighting some kind of poorly made 3D dinosaurs in the first episode. But the ending just instantly hook me up (not spoiling any details >;D).
As for the action/fighting visual, its not too shabby but certainly isn't the best either. But I was focusing more on the story/relationship between the characters more than the fighting/action aspect of this anime. It got a few funny
