91 Days
add

91 Days and Baccano are both set in the American 1920/30s, with similar animation styles. Both revolve heavily around mafia v. mafia and involve both knife and gun fights. The main differences and that Baccano has more of a fantasy element and also can be a bit lighter (because of its comedic characters). Seeming to the contrary, Baccano is also a bit more graphic violence wise. But overall, very similar atmosphere in both shows.

Zettai Karen Children: The Unlimited - Hyoubu Kyousuke

The Unlimited and K give very similar feelings. Both have powerful protagonists (who may be a bit over-powered at times) and center around characters who are at one point or another involved in a gang-like fight. They also have very similar flashback scenes, which both seem to revolve around a WWII-type era. Both shorter, and mix military with ESP (or esp-like abilities).

Donten ni Warau
add

Donten ni Warau and FMA are both character driven, brother-centered shows about fighting for strength and the ones you love. I highly enjoyed both; in fact, they're two of my favorite Animes. They are emotionally engaging, and connect you deeply with the characters. Both have plenty of action and a little supernatural (FMA has alchemy and DnW has the Orochi, Omnyoji and the Shinobi--ninjas). Between the three brothers in DnW, I'm not sure who would most parallel Ed and Al. Both have lost their parents from the beginning, though Ed and Al have left and the 'Three Cloud Brothers' remain at the Kumou shrine. FMA is based in a fictional European country, whereas DnW is in NE of Kyoto in Meiji period Japan. A few other similarities: Both take place around the turn of the 20th century Both center on moving forward from a darker past Both have that character who's a general and gets on your nerves, but you can't help but like them. Overall, great show; if you like one, you'll probably like the other! ;)
