~Spoiler free review~

This is the second manga I've ever read. And after finishing the quite short story, I felt obligated to review it because I'm still new to this, and it was definitely an interesting read.

At first, this manga came of as a kind of bizarre surreal drama consisting of way to much intimacy. Considering you have no idea what you are in for, it's a rough start. If you can't look past that, then this is probably not for you. Personally, I came in with a lot of expectations, and I'm glad it didn't fail me in the end. The plot is not ... one of the strongest points here. I think the story was okay, neither good nor bad. But the factor that made this worthwhile is the realistic course of action it portrays.

"Be wary of what actions you take or they might come back to haunt you and make you a substitute for interest", that is kind of how it "kicks-off". You'll be introduced to a kind of dark side of humanity, where nothing is of higher value other than satisfaction, personal interests and profit. It's nice to see some character development (as for myself) that can be interpreted in real life . And there is nothing like "no hard feelings" or "pure at heart" crap you see all over. This felt genuine and real almost all the way through. In the end, all of the hardships makes up for it.

If you want a short and absolutely decent read, don't hesitate to pick this up. It's not your typical love story, but is an interesting one and I'm sure you'll like it!

I just had to review this

This is the first time I've watched an Hentai, and I must say that it was a weird experience, it wasn't really my cup of tea.

But, however, for some reason I actually enjoyed it. The plot was not as bad as I thought it would be. Rance 01 is like like any other action/fantasy series out there. - A hungry hero showing absolute fulFILLment to his assigned mission (with girls along the way) that keeps fighting for justice. LOL. I mean, haven't we all watched a series just like that before?

I won't be watching something like this ... ever again not that I regret that I did. It had me laugh a few times because it was so stupid. And it's not bad to widen your perspective on things sometimes, right?

Rance 01: Hikari wo Motomete was absolutely enjoyable.
