Ramen Daisuki Koizumi-san

Both are shows that don’t have much of a story and instead focus on highlighting all kinds of Japanese food from across the country. Koizumi-san focuses on ramen and Isekai Izakaya is about pub food. Concepts are different but both are shows perfect to watch when eating delicious food!

Shiroi Suna no Aquatope

Both summer themed anime that deal with a sad inevitabile event (Gama Gama closing in Aquatope, Saki moving away in Natsuiro Kiseki), and throughout both shows there is a certain melancholy felt as every passing day inches closer to the end. Supernatural aspects play parts in characters processing change (the wishing rock & the vision surrounded by fish), however more so in Natsuiro. Very good SoL shows with enough drama to hook you in after every episode while still being a peaceful viewing experience.

Amanchu!

Pikari is very similar to Torako. Loud, bombastic, tends to stick out in every way possible. Both Futuba and Ayumi are exposed and at the mercy of the unpredictability of Pikari/Torako. Setting is fairly similar too, with the new girl transferring to school and getting caught up in the "crazy" girls antics. Amanchu is a lot more pleasant compared to Hyakko's constant gags but both are great SoL comedies.

Sabage-bu!

Comedy is similar in the sense that they draw humor for the absurdity of the characters in everyday situations/settings. With Ben-To its grocery store brawls, and in Sabage-bu it's airsoft survival games. The former is slightly more serious and plot driven but both are equally funny.

Zetsuen no Tempest

Both are shows with huge overarching mysteries. Tempest is much more of a psychological fantasy while Spiral is more of a true mystery anime. Both feel like a game with characters facing off in battles of wits, and are full of twists and turns from the start until both of their epic finales.

Gakkougurashi!

Both of these anime have to do with characters skewed perceptions of their reality, and how those perceptions play into their lives. Chaos;Head focuses more on the concepts of paranoia and hysteria, while Gakkougurashi explores the vast field of psychological disorders. Both contain characters that may not actually exist.

Strong themes of fate and destiny. Characters constantly subjected to the unpredictability of their worlds. Certain characters are favored by fate, while others appear cursed. Penguindrum is more of a race against the clock to break the cycle of fate, while Haibane Renmei focuses on achieving a perfect destiny.

Kaguya-sama wa Kokurasetai: Tensai-tachi no Renai Zunousen
|
Both deal with characters whose pride gets in the way of their love life. The portrayal of love as a game is present in both of these anime. The development of relationships are both incredibly unconventional and indirect. Kaguya-sama has more of a cat-and-mouse feel, while Toradora deals with flirting through proxy characters.

Tate no Yuusha no Nariagari
|
Both deal with main characters that have been ostracized from society because of factors they cant control. In Naruto, the titular character (Naruto) is hated by society because a destructive fox beast was sealed within him, while in Shield Hero, it's more of a set up by higher ups to keep the main character disliked and disadvantaged. However, over time, they come to gain the respect of the people who once doubted them. Nothing is handed to the main characters of these anime. They have to fight and prove themselves worthy of respect despite overwhelming odds. Both great stories of redemption and have good manga adaptations too!
