Ok so. This show. It's certainly interesting. You can tell that the creators had an actual love for what they were making, but that the budget was simply made of string. Some highlights are; the cast of milves. Very good. excellent even. The intro song is amazing, genuinely, with nice visuals as well, I'm surprised more people haven't talked about it. Then again, I don't think many people have even heard of this show. The version I watch only had up to episode 20 I think, and was fansubbed. Kinda nostalgic tbh.

To me this is a top tier show.
The characters are fun and well written, the english dub is solid even though I usually don't like dubs, the opening and ending themes slap, and the plot is fun and camp. I always enjoy a femal main character who has himbo energy like this. Honestly, all the characters have himbo energy. The animation is fun and bouncy, and the outfits are great. the ridiculousness of whats going on with no explanation suspends the viewers disbelief enough that you'll go along with whatever. All in all, purely for the entertainment factor when combined with a solid 8 ...

I like the comedic timing, absurdness and simplicity of this. its charming, funny, and leaves a lot unsaid which tbh adds to the vibe. it feels very real but also bizarre.
I really hate the transphobia of ep 1, and the pedophile bodyguard of ep 3. i think that that should not be accepted into the industry, its unfortunately quite normalized tho. Also the incesty vibes involving the brothers, similar to OHSHC. I feel like we accept that in popular shows and thats not ok, but that also means im not going to say the whole show is bad for it, especially given its decades old ... |
