The story in Murder Princess is nothing to talk about. 2 girls swap bodies and the plot just sails from there.
The relationship between the 2 stars is nice. It gets touching at times and I think it's sweet! What I liked the most about this anime were the action scenes. Especially all the sword swinging!!
The way our princess swishes that blade around, is .. deadly! (evil grin)
I will recommend this anime for anyone who just wants a good action theme on their hands. It's short and I think thats best. If it were any longer I'd quit out of boredom.

Cliche.
That is a good way to describe this anime. Don't get me wrong. This has all the needed ingredients for a top hit, but the story is severely lacking. At the end of the series, I was badly wishing for the main cast (all 4 of them) to be put in another anime or something. Their backgrounds were all good too, But the glue that binds it all together, the plot, well it's just too average to think about. If this is your first anime, you'll probably enjoy it. But, if you're an anime addict (like me), then you probably want to spend your time elsewhere. YAWN! ...

I just finished watching this yesterday and I think I'm feeling better now. The show is good. It really is. What I'm having a problem with is the ending. I don't want to reveal any spoilers, and it's not a typical ending, but I'm unsatisfied with it. If they would just change the last 2 episodes, it would really make me feel a LOT better about the show.
Until Ep 21, I was ready to give this series a 9 for story and character, but the ending just ruined it for me. Now, don't get me wrong, it's a great story and the pacing is VERY good. ... |
