When watching Konosuba, 2 anime came to my mind: Sword Art Online and Mondaiji-Tachi. It seems to have a combination of aspects from both.
Story: Our main character Kazuma is an otaku, on one of the rare occasions where he leaves his room and goes out, he dies. Upon dying he finds himself in front of Aqua, a goddess, who gives Kazuma a choice: Go to heaven, or be reborn into an RPG-like world and help the people of that world defeat the devil king. Aqua allows Kazuma to take any sort of power, weapon or anything he chooses with him. After becoming
...
annoyed at being teased by Aqua, Kazuma chooses to take her. This is accepted as part of the rules by heaven and thus she is sent to the other world with Kazuma, being unable to return until she has defeated the devil king.
*The world and how it works (people being classified, guilds, quests to earn money, ability to learn skills, etc) is similar to SAO, but overall the anime feels like Mondaiji in the sense that it is more comedic then serious or dramatic.
Art & Sound - The art isn't the best, I have noticed a few inconsistencies especially with character designs, but overall is fine and doesn't hinder the anime. Sound is ok, nothing rememberable about the OP or ED.
Character - The characters are the best aspect of the anime, they are extremely funny and enjoyable. From Kazuma having a skill enabling him to 'unintentionally' steal underwear to Aqua repeatedly almost getting eaten by a giant frog after heavily overstating her abilities. Kazuma and Aqua are joined by Megumin, who knows powerful explosion magic, but it incapacitates her after one attack and darkness, a crusader who is a masochist. Character development is minimal, but due to the lack of plot it isn't really required.
*Aqua reminds me of Black Rabbit from Mondaiji.
*The MC isn't absolutely clueless or ridiculously dense, which is a bonus.
Enjoyment - This anime series is brilliant, the comedy is there from the 1st episode and the characters are fun to watch. If you enjoy comedy and fantasty anime then you'll most likely enjoy this. If you enjoyed Sword Art Online because of the fighting monsters and clearing floors aspect then this isn't that type of anime, there is very very little plot progression.

Once upon a time in a land far away
a Japanese guy wanted to do an anime
he decided to do an Aquarion to take the pis*
just to unsurprisingly do a poor job of this
The story is horrible and the art beyond belief
Clearly made to cause pain and grief
So to call this a trainwreck is most certainly fair
So save yourself from such an untold despair.
...
Story - This definitely has to be one of the worst anime ever made. The story is horribly padded with filler, poorly paced and very inconsistant with switching between episodes that are and aren't filler. It is completely unrelated to Genesis of Aquarion and Aquarion Evol. The story is horribly confusing as well.
Art is diabolical. That's all that needs to be said
Sound - Music is equally as bad compared to previous Aquarions - I am seriously missing Akino. Voice acting is poor quality as well, but it seems to be due to the equipment used to record the VAs rather then the VAs themselves.
Character - The show is very episodic and tries to use filler to develop characters but does a extremely poor job of it. Overall only 1 character has any decent development - Maia. Characters are pretty generic, no Apollo/Kagura like character which is sad.
Enjoyment - Lets be honest, Genesis and Evol had thier flaws, but at least they were enjoyable. They had ok storylines, good action scenes, music and good characters. Logos has none of these, it literally could be considered an anime that sucks every little bit of life out of you, turning you into a mindless, drooling zombie.

Story 6/10 - Basically we have a modern-day setting where many preadolescents have superpowers, and it is the work of the school council of a special school for those with such powers to stop anyone over-using thier powers so that they don't get caught by "evil scientists" who want to experiment on them.
The Story is like road with so many potholes. My biggest complaints are 1. Not once are these "evil scientists" in the anime and because of that the threat seems so unreal. 2. The pacing of this anime is horrendous, the 1st half of it feels slower then a 10,000 meter run
...
for snails. Then the 2nd half of the season is rushed - heck the last episode (which should be awarded for being horribly rushed) is a testament to the show's pacing issues. Admittedly despite it's flaws, it has a few good moments.
-------------------------------------------
Art - 8/10 - The art is definitely the strongest aspect of this anime. the characters are well drawns and the environments are beautifully coloured and designed. Smoothly done and easy on the eye.
--------------------------------------------
Sound 5/10 - Sound was extremely mediocre, although I like the opening because it's quite catchy. Other than that nothing sticks out at all.
---------------------------------------------
Character 5/10 - The MCs Yuu and Nao have some decent development but there are so many characters who get little to no development whatsoever. The best example of this is Takajo - he is at first a seemingly important member of the student council. After the 3rd episode he feels like he has been relegated to a character who has been added just for comical effect, or to lighten the mood. There are more charactes in the 2nd half of the season who are extremely forgetable for the same reason - lack of character development.
------------------------------------------------
Enjoyment 6/10 - If you can ignore the flaws in the Story mainly the pacing, as well as character development then to be fair, it is a reasonably decent anime to watch.

Story 7/10 - The story follows Kazami Yuuji, Yuuji has had a very, very troubled past and joins a school with only 5 other students other then him, he hopes to do this in the hope of having at least some normality in his life. He eventually meets these 5 other students, 5 girls who themselves have faced trauma in thier lives, one at a time Yuuji supports them in overcoming thier past. My only complaint with the story is how it is laid out. The story is kind of laid out in arcs, with each arc focusing on a certain female character. The problem
...
with this is that it causes the anime to have serious pacing issues, for example one arc takes 5 episodes, but an other one takes about 2.
Art 6/10 - The enviornment and background art is good, although the character design has a some flaws, an example is with some female characters with long hair, the hair can sometimes be seen going behind thier eye but other then that the art is good.
Sound 5/10 - Honestly this by far is the weakest aspect of the anime, no piece of music stuck out as being rememberable, although the VA fitted the characters well.
Characters 7/10 - I felt we got to know a decent amount about the characters during each of thier arcs, there is a good balance of differing personalities between the girls, and the MC is good as well with dealing with the emotional trauma these girls have faced, coming up with very different ways to deal with the very different types of pain that these girls have gone through.
Enjoyment 8/10 - This anime has good characters, has good amounts of comedy, while retaining the seriousness as well. If you can excuse the pacing especially during last 5 episodes of the anime, then it is a decent one to watch.

Story 7/10 - The story is set around a group of 5 friends who are in the Student cultural research club, they start to experience strange supernatural events that happens only to them, the strong point of this story is that we get given a good look at how these events affect each character differently and how it affects the entire friendship of the group. The only complaint I have is that the pacing does get a bit slower around about episode 9-10.
Art & Sound 6/10 - Art is good and is nicely presentable, the environment and characters are nice and smooth as well.
...
Sound is equally as a good, and the anime has a good and catchy opening song.
Character 7/10 - The main characters are Taichi Yaegashi, Iori Nagase, Himeko Inaba, Yoshifumi Aoki and Yui Kiriyama. The personality of these characters are shown off well, we see how they try to cope with the mental strain of the events, and how this almost changes them completely. The antagonist is even better, it goes by the name of Heartseed and he is the cause of these events. We are given no physcal image and as such have no idea who or what Heartseed is especially because it takes over the body of Ryūzen Gotō, the club advisor of the main characters. The mystery around heartseed increases when we learn that there is more then 1 "heartseed" and this "other one" has a much different way of playing with the 5 teens.
Enjoyment 7/10 - This anime is very enjoyable especially with the mystique surrounding Heartseed which is really beneficial to the anime as it creates an air of superstition. The characters attempts to manage thier lives despite these events is also enjoyable especially as they can't tell others about these events, after all who would believe them?. As previous mentioned, the anime does run into some pacing issues around the 2nd half but it doesn't affect the quality of the story too much.

Baka to Test has no overall storyline, it has a typical school setting in which there are classrooms ranging from A-F, the quality of these classrooms range from class A having luxuries to Class F having barely functional equipment. The anime follows the lives of several class F students and thier funny antics, If you have come here for romance, or for a good anime with good character then you'll be disappointed. This anime focuses solely on comedy, but it does a fantastic job at it.

Well this review will probably butthurt the majority, if not all, of the Naruto fanbase. I liked Naruto, overall I enjoyed all aspects of it except the art which wasn't the best, I thought that Shippuuden would be equally as good, or even better. How wrong I was, it is terrible.
Storyline - The events continue from the previous series with Naruto trying to find his friend (Sasuke) who has gone all dark and power hungry. Overall Naruto Shippuuden is an absolute nightmare, from season 1 onwards you have non-stop fillers. The amount of times the story progession gets hindered due to fillers is endless
...
and it is like this repeatedly in every season.
Art and Sound - The art is ok, but sometimes feels a bit stiff, backgrounds sound weren't best, although the music was good.
Character - Yes there is some decent characters, but very few of the characters get any real developement.
Enjoyment - Starts out ok, but it goes downhill fast, and eventually it gets to the point where waiting 2 hours for a bus becomes more exciting then watching this.

Ghost Hunt is a decent anime, but it does struggle with pacing, the anime is laid out as arcs containing 3-4 episodes. There are times where you just feel like giving up because it starts to get boring, and although with the expection of a few comedic moments, the overall character developement is poor and the female MC is really annoying. I will give it some credit though, it does have a few moments where it will make you shed a tear, or send a chill down your spine but these are far and few between. The later arcs do get darker especially the 2nd
...
to last arc and the last arc, in which we see the characters get tested both physically and mentally.

Story - Basically you are first shown a war taking place in an alternative world called Ente Isla between the Demon lord Satan and the Hero Emilia, Satan and his most loyal general Alciel escape through a gate to modern day Tokyo, eventually Emilia follows. Due to the lack of magic Satan and Alciel change into human forms, and are forced to take on fake identies to survive. Maou (Satan) decides to take a job at a "MgRonalds" franchise restruant while Alciel does house duties.
Art and Sound - The OP is nice and catchy, but otherwise nothing really that sticks out, or is worth mentioning
Character
...
- The characters are unbelievable, and I mean unbelievable. I do get fustrasted over the concept of Maous' character, he is far too nice compared to this supposed evil demon lord that he is supposed to be. To be honest all the demons (Maou, Alciel, Lucifer) seem far too nice. I mean how can you expect people to believe that these demons are as evil as are stated when you don't even see it.
Enjoyment - There is a lot of comedic momments, and a few good action scenes. that is why I have given this an overall score of 5, without those momments, then the score could easily be 2.

Punchline really surprised me, it started out with the empression that it was going to be a silly natured anime full of fan service. As the season progresses, so does the seriousness of the plot, and the situation that the MC is in.
Story - So we have our MC Yuta, he finds himself in the middle of a bus hijacking where a pink haired girl named Strange Juice is able to subdue all, but one of the assailants. The leader, an unnamed white haired guy, of the group who attacked the bus, prepares to shoot Strange Juice. He is stopped by Yuta, who had
...
somehow powered up after seeing his neighbours Rabura's panties. Yuta tackles him out of the bus and into the sea below the highway, while falling the white haired guy happily says something to yuta which is quieted out. He wakes up on the shore with Strange Juice, but ends up unconscious again after seeing her panties, suddenly a beam of light comes from the sky and hits Yuta and he is thrown out of his body. Yuta wakes up in his dormitory and finds that he has become a spirit with only a talking cat, Chiranosuke, to guide and help him.
Throughout the season, Yuta learns that an impending disater is going to hit Earth in the future, and the only way he can change that future is by trying to affect current events to ensure that devastating future doesn't happen. He also remembers the events surrounding his childhood, and his two friends at the time Chiyoko and Guriko.
Art & Sound - Overall art is fine, no complaints or anything worth mentioning. The OP is catchy, and ED is decent, and the insert song in EP 12 fits the moment perfectly.
Character - I enjoyed Yuta as a MC, I felt the anime allows the viewer to follow him along with the events as well as learn of his past, and how he has ended up where he is. Yuta has the power to uber-fy, which allows him to push his body further giving him extra strength and speed.
We also have Mikatan, Ito, Meika, and Rabura, these are the 4 neighbours of Yuta.
Mikatan - She is the hero Strange Juice who stopped the gang involved in the bus hijacking, she is a good natured girl and loves to playing with her friends. She has links to Yuta's childhood and just like Yuta has the ability to uber-fy, although her body suffers as a result of using it, this means she has to take medication.
Ito - She is a NEET and prefers to stay in her room playing video games (don't we all?) she has a pet bear name Muhi who seems to be the target of an evil group called the Q-may group who are intent on allowing the disater, that is going to strike earth in the future, to happen.
Meika - She is a robot who is the landlay of the dormitory, she is brilliant at hacking which plays a part latter in the season. She also helps Mikatan with her Strange Juice persona.
Rabura - She is an exorcist although she doesn't believe in spirits. She can be temporarily possessed by Yuta's spirit when there is cinnamon ( Cinnamons hightens spiritual powers) in the area.
Enjoyment - I enjoyed Punchline while it starts out as ok, it does gets better as the season goes on, what really made this good in my opinion, is how light-hearted everything is from the fan service, to the fights, and even the ending was very light given the circumstance. The anime also does well to not go with the most obvious ending.
