Josee to Tora to Sakana-tachi

Toradora! is my personal favourite series and unbeaten in anyway. However I made here this recommendation for Josée purely for Taiga and Josee.♡ Taiga and Kumiko are such a belied (and tsundere!) but beautiful, doll-like, and tiger-like impression but at the same time a fragile princess. And though Aisaka seemed to be perfectly fine, Taiga was as much the same as Kumiko; she had that unableness and hindrance of achieving what she really wanted, and always with the impression of everything being out of reach… In fact the entire Toradora! had also trying to convey a message about that. Maybe Taiga and Kumiko are both what gave of Sagan’s Those without shadow; we sometimes were unable to find our grasp and where we belong because our ableness, that ability to be able to make things possible, was depending onto something or someone.

Even with Mimi wo Sumaseba (1995), I am still in doubt that this would be a recommendation that I want to make. But talk about Yoshifumi Kondō‘s the only and the last directorial work (his truly last work would be the great contribution to Mononoke-hime (1997)) alone; there is nothing wrong with Mimi wo Sumaseba—there is rarely a chance for a film that is composed with the late 20th century synth sounds and synth-pop’s with good numbers of orchestra pieces. Another which came to me is Sayonara no Asa ni Yakusoku no Hana wo Kazarou (2018), 1001 Nights (1999), Yesterday wo Utatte (1997/2020), Kaze Tachinu (2013), Blue Period (2021), Domestic na Kanojo (2019), and Kokoro ga Sakebitagatterunda (2015) is very tempting—anyway, of all these, and after several of letting go’s—I have found that Toki wo Kakeru Shoujo (2006) might, after-all, be the most [of it] that I will choose.

Ginga Tetsudou no Yoru is probably one of the most influential work of anime industry—and Shinsekai yori is an example of a fruitful imagination of that.

Mawaru Penguindrum

It is certainly almost unimaginable of the difficulty to write a recommend for Mawaru Penguindrum (2011), of course Shinsekai Yori (2012) is there naturally since the symbolism of the second movement of Dvořák Ninth, and of any means, Penguindrum is like a different world-line next to Shinsekai, but of all the thematic exacts, Shinsekai, albeit being an exceptional fruitful imagination, doesn’t exactly give out Ginga Tetsudou no Yoru (1985) as in one of Penguindrum’s, so, by the time that I had contemplated enough, several titles did come to my mind—I thought about Macross Seven, Mobilsuit Gundam Wing, but Bishoujo Senshi Sailor Moon SuperS would fall in the same hole that it is that of the same Director Kunihiko Ikuhara—also Neon Genesis Evangelion came to me—but the clearest of all: Romeo no Aoi Sora.

It is particularly quite much impossible to make a recommendation for something so great and melancholy like a symphony of Gustav Mahler like the unrivalled masterpiece if all Nichijou. But some which came to me is kono sekai no katasumi ni, and “ima, soko ni iru boku”
