I would like to start this review off by just simply saying that THIS IS NOT YOUR SOFT FLUFFY SWEET YAOI MANGA. Nah fam if what you're looking for is some of them wholesome yaoi love story and what not, then you shouldn't even be considering this one in the first place.
HOWEVER, for those of you yaoi fans that like some dark twisted plots along with a sprinkle of roughness (if you will lmao) in your mangas, like me ;) , then I would highly recommend this one.
To sum things up, this manga gives out MAJOR obsessive yandere stalker boyfriend vibes. If you're into
...
that, then this... my dear friend is something you will LOVE. I personally have been trying to find mangas like this for quite some time but to no avail BUTTT hey hey thank heavans for Harada sensei's wonderful masterpieces.
I would also like to mention that like all of Harada sensei's works, the artwork of this manga is beyond amazing and very detailed. It's impressive to see how Harada sensei was able to express the characters' emotions and sinister dispositions through her art style. It's a definite 10/10
But yea, that concludes my review for this manga. All in all, if you're into that kind of dark messed up plots and amazing art styles...then this is what you've been looking for, my dude.

If you're reading this very review of mine and are interested in watching this anime, there are two possibilities...
ONE, you're here for Daisuke Kambe
TWO, you're actually genuinely interested in watching the anime.
Well, if I'm going to be HELLA honest, I started watching this for the sole purpose of fangirling over Daisuke and lemme just say that those were some embarrassing times. But no worries, I've grown and learnt from my past mistakes and am now a new man. It took me quite a while to realize that there isn't much to Daisuke other than the fact that he's just hot and yeaa.
Aside from
...
my Daisuke obsession, I did take this anime seriously and was in a way invested in it. I wanted to see if this anime was something more than one with a rich hot dude and what I found was ehhh???? Idk man
For starters, episode 1 gave me a good first impression. It was pretty good, especially with the action scenes. However as things went on, it slowly became more of a kiddy-like slice of life anime. Episode 3, in particular was SUCH A LETDOWN. I wanted drama, violence, suspense and some excitement but unfortunately NOTHING of the sort ever happened.
Continuing on up until episode 5, it's all just boring. At that point, the anime had literally abandoned its original plot, detectives fighting crime and solving mysteries etc. NGL, by then, I was so close to dropping this anime as I figured that it wasn't worth my time anymore
BUTTTTT then came episode 6 and THAT WAS A WHOLE ASS U-TURN IHDIUEEIUEUHEF
Episode 6 had everything the anime was lacking but it was so much more. It really impressed me and boy was I not expecting ALL THAT. With that, I now currently have some new found hope that maybe this show isn't that much of a flunk but we'll have to see how the anime progress from here.
So, if you're willing to be patient enough to watch through all those boring and uninteresting episodes till the real drama hits, then sure, go ahead but if you're not willing to do so...sorry fam but you ain't goanna like this one.

Now, before I start this, I would just like to say that everyone is entitled to their own opinions and this is only MY personal opinion. No one is obligated to agree with what I have to say but to those who would like to know of my thoughts, here goes:
Sorry but I do not like this season of Re:zero.
Starting from the very beginning, I've watched the first season of Re:zero back when is was still airing. The first season was fairly alright. The first half of it is pretty good actually, I quite enjoyed it but the other half was just terrible. The
...
whole time I was watching the last half of season one, the only thing I could think of in my mind was 'this is a mess'. I was not satisfied with how it turned out to be and how it ended.
Then came the news of season 2 releasing. When I found out about it, I really did hoped that there would be some improvements and maybe, just maybe, I would be able to enjoy the anime once more.
To my literal surprise, this season has failed to do so. So far, I have not seen any improvements and the story is not as captivating nor interesting as I thought it would be. Ngl, there were many times where i would nearly fall asleep as the whole thing was just too boring to watch. For the first few episodes, I was anticipating drama, epic magical fights but all I got was dialogue after dialogue, just words and conversations.
And as can be seen in this season, there are a myriad of new characters. The thing that bothered me the most is that the character designs are rather generic and unattractive, especially for an isekai anime. I was expecting something better but eh. For now, the only few character designs that I actually am fond of would remain as Emilia, Rem, Ram and Beatrice. The additional ones would be Elsa Granhiert and Petra (just a little)
All in all, I am just disappointed with how Re:zero has turned out to be. But I am going to stay optimistic and continue to give it a chance as as I am writing this review currently, the series has not ended yet. Hopefully the coming episodes would be more promising.

Okay, wow
Just wow...
To put into simpler terms, I was not expecting 'ride your wave' to be THAT good of a movie. If I were to be brutally honest, I initially did not want nor wish to watch this movie as after taking a look at the trailer, I figured that this was not worth of the hype is was getting, that it looked rather plain and boring.
Seeing what the trailer had presented to me, I just assumed that this movie would just be of some generic love story where a couple goes to the beach, dude dies from being hit by a wave or something
...
and the girlfriend, being too depressed after his death, gets hallucinations of him and that's about it. I figured that this movie's story would be far too simple and basic, especially coming from a person as creative and highly acclaimed as Masaaki Yuasa.
BUTTTTTTTTTTTTT
thank goodness, I was proven to be wrong. It was not long before I decided to give 'ride your wave' a go. I was just bored and thought that it will be of no harm to just give it a chance.
To summarize, the story plot is pretty generic actually, it's basically how I predicted and expected it to be as mentioned previously but it's just that ' umph' that made the movie so compelling and enjoyable.
Yes, the story is rather generic but Masaaki Yuasa has done a wonderful job in executing everything and turning it into an anime adaption. The way he presents his characters and how they face problems throughout the whole movie is a job well done.
Personally, I am not much of an emotional person. I tend to lean more on the practical side but lemme just say.... there was never a single moment where I would expect myself to get all emotional and teary for a movie with such a simple and predictable plot but I had proven myself wrong... yet again. I ended the movie trying to stop myself from tearing up.
I was not emotional after watching Anohana and Maiquia: when the promise flower blooms but somehow I was for 'ride your wave'. It really was a massive shock for me, I must say.
All in all, if you're like me and are hesitating to give this one a go, I'd highly recommend you to stop your pondering and just get to it ;)

Imma try to make this short as possible as I assume that not many would really want me to ramble on this manga too long so here goes:
Well, this manga is basically the "basic" and "expected" version of the "bunch of different people stuck in a place and are trying to survive together" kind of story. Basically, everything in this manga can be easily predicted from start to finish. Everything generic you expect from a manga with a story like this, it's right there.
Man has a tough life - talks about it along with his personal shit - accident / disaster happens - him along
...
with many other people of different personalities, appearance, background etc are placed in a similar difficult situation - they all work together to try to solve things - character introduction - conflict happens - drama - ending of some kind
aaannnddd just like THAT, you're done.
The manga is pretty basic and the plot is terribly average. It isn't bad but it isn't good either. Harsher critics would say that it's far too boring and there's not much of great plot twist and drama and I can agree.
To add, the characters are also very very generic. You have the main protagonist who is an adult male, the old couple, the "edgy" and "cool" girl, the couple with a young kid to care for, the betrayers etc
So, all in all, if you're looking for an extremely interesting read that'll get your full attention, then I'm sorry cause this ain't the one for you dude. But if you're a newbie to this kind of story and you can't really handle overly dark things, I'd definitely recommend this to you.

Lemme just get straight to the point...
this very manga is REALLY a good read. It has a well written story, the art is fairly good, the characters are all very interesting as well as different in terms of goals, personalities, appearances, thinking etc. I had a thrill while reading this, always eager to see what comes next and each chapter has never cease to amaze me.
Although I'd like to point out that there are certain parts of the manga that are rather unrealistic and (how do I put this??)...odd?? but the good parts of the manga compensates for that.
I love how this manga gives
...
out a raw picture of how the characters develop and carry things out, especially when most of them are in their teens, rather than mature and realistic adults. Throughout the manga, we get to see how these characters learn to adapt to the situation that they are placed and face things that even most adults could never face together.
But like most mangas with a similar story, we witness conflicts slowly arising and personal desires taking over the minds' of some of the characters, that's when the shit hits the fan and when things get REALLY heated. If the characters were adults, those desires would most likely be that of political standpoints, decision making etc etc but as I've said before, this whole ordeal is from the eyes of a bunch of teens and that is what makes everything so compelling.
Overall, this manga is definitely worth the read and if you're planning to give it a go, go ahead. :)

Call me being too easy or whatever but I genuinely do believe that this manga is a masterpiece. From the story itself to the characters that are involved, everything about this manga is just beautiful and praise worthy.
Not gonna lie, when I first laid my eyes on the cover of the manga, I figured I would just get some wholesome story and that's it but after reading the reviews, I became quite pumped up and eager to find out what this manga had in stall for me. Seeing how high the ratings are, my expectations increased and after reading the whole thing lemme just say.....
boy
...
ohhhhh boy was I not dissapointed :D (I read everything in just one sitting)
To start, the story was just immaculate. There, I said it. It's beautiful and groundbreaking and I would never ask for a different version of it. I would be more than happy to further elaborate on that but I figured it's best to experience it yourself. ;)
Next, the art style. I don't even think I need to tell you..it's simply captivating and amazing. Words can't describe how much I love it.
Moving on, the characters.....honestly, I just love how different the characters in this manga are. They all have different personalities, stories, experiences and backgrounds but you find them to all be rather compatible with one another. Throughout the manga, you get to see how each character impacts the other and how they all mature and develop to become the people they are at the end.
Regarding how much I enjoyed reading this manga. Well, I'm pretty sure you can tell that I had a great time reading it. Frankly, I'd never thought I'd be in the verge of tears after reading something without any typical shounen backstory and what not but ohohoho did I prove myself wrong. Yea, this manga really got me like that. Just seeing what the characters go through and how they were there for each other just made me all emotional in a wholesome way.
All in all, I can definitely see why this manga is loved by many and with that, Ii would just like to say to anyone who intends to read this but is hesitating to do so, just do it. It's so so worth it :)

I've been wanting to write a review on this for quite some time now and it's about time I do so. Aaannndd considering there is a massive lack of reviews regarding this manhwa, so I just wanted to show my support and share my opinions about it.
First off, I would just like to say that i would 100% recommend this to literally anyone and everyone. It doesn't matter if you like the genre or not, just go ahead and give it a go cause one thing I cam promise you is that you would not regret doing so.
To add, I personally feel that this
...
manhwa is extremetly underrated and deserves more recognition and attention. Yes, though it is not a japanese manga, but it is still worth reading.
The whole story and plot is fascinating. The characters themselves are really interesting and you will easily find yourself immersed into their thoughts and lives. The art style is also very similar to that of a japnese manga. All in all, this manhwa is a masterpiece and you would have no problem finding yourself reading the whole thing wihtin a day (cause that's what happened to me)
