Nijiiro Daya is highly recommended to read but I'll just just keep my review short and simple.

Most would think at first glance that this might be BL because of these four handsome guys on the cover but no it isn't. In fact, nijiiro days is a typical slice of life story about boys in high school and of course their funny love experiences and dilemmas in school.

The plot is pretty generic like any slice of life and shoujo manga you read. However, you'll be fascinated by the characters in the manga which is the best thing here. You'll gonna love their personalities and interactions so ... as their friendship. And if you're into romcom genre, then this will surely give you satisfaction and it's a multi-pairing as well!! You won't find this hard to read since the art is certainly pleasing to the eyes especially when you see the characters if you know what I mean.

The manga has ended and I did not regret on reading this. Again, Nijiiro Days is highly recommended to read and certainly, you won't regret it as well when you read this.

I actually have a high expectations for this anime since I really like games and maybe this anime is the perfect treat for me but then it led me to disappointment.

Okay so when you hear the anime title "Gamers" what probably comes out on your mind? Of course games! This might be an anime where characters are gamers and they would play and explore different kinds of games. Or maybe they are ought to compete with other gamers using their expertise on games. But it's not. This is really just a school romance comedy anime.

The first episode really caught my interest since it ... shows the different types of gamers and what games they are good with. But as I continued the second and then to next episodes, it became bad and painful to watch. My expectations were ruined but I did consider the theme of the anime in which "loving games and enjoying yourself on playing games is the best thing as a gamer" so I could continue. But the hell, the characters just kept on talking and spouting their ideals and perceptions on games and it became a source of conflict which is kind of annoying. But the most annoying part here are the misunderstandings of the characters. Characters are so dense and stupid and small things became a big thing. It was so annoying when you're watching like you wanted to throw the remote control on their faces but you can't because your TV might broke. I kinda dislike the characters here, a plain and dense hero, Mary Sue heroine and annoying supporting characters. There are other supporting characters there who are way better but you won't get to see them often in the series and I'm kinda disappointed with that.

So this anime just typically depicts the lives of teenagers in their adolescent days. Kind of cliche but it's a gamer teen version. I did not enjoy this really so if you're looking for an anime wich really uses games as a plot and not just talk about games, then don't watch this.

I judge a story with its ending becuase an ending makes a story whole and strong. Kamisama Iutoori Ni disappoints me with its ending but I can't think of any possible endings that could fit with the story after everything that happened there. But before we talk about the ending (I'll not give spoilers but just describe how it feels), let's talk about what makes it cool. This contain mild spoilers but kinda helpful for you so you won't say that you're not wasting your time if you decide to read this.

I appreciate the sense of freedom of the author to extend his imagination of ... killing and destroying everything mercilessly. You better expect the unexpected here since lots of things will surprise you especially this: Character deaths. Never stan or favorite any characters. That's what I've learned in this story and it hurts when you see your favorite character died in a grotesque way. Even interesting characters, whose story is unknown and forever will be unknown, died without showing how cool they are. It's strangely entertaining for me because it gave me more thrills. If you're not into gore and character deaths, this manga will be kinda hard for you. Aside from that, the arcs never fail to amaze me because there are lots of twists and turns of events. The story became more nerve-wracking and nail-biting as you go on. It's like you are riding a roller coaster as you go on reading and then suddenly your ride crashes as you reach the ending.


Now here comes the ending. I mentioned that I appreacite the arcs of this story because of its awesomeness. The last arc was really epic a perfect climax for me and then the ending hit me. I was like "Wtf. So what's the purpose of those things?!" Everything became pointless!! I know that this kind of manga doesn't usually end with a happy ending but this kind of ending which turns everything pointless for the characters and readers, it's frustrating and not deserving. It was like the story was on the top of the cliff ready to jump in heaven but unfortunately fell in the deep ocean. The ending will make you regret and say "Why did I read this? I just wasted my time." I think the ending ruined the story but like I said I don't know any other ending that could fit. If only the author change some certain parts of the story, the ending could be different.

The journey of reading this is fun and if you're into gore, you'll gonna like this. However, I've warned you with the ending. It's not a good one.

If you are looking for a shoujo manga with not so slow-pacing romance development between the two people and less dramatic misunderstandings that can lead to a big headache for you as a reader, then I will recommend Ani Tomo to you.

Though this still contains less chapters and still on-going, I find this manga really enjoyable to read.

Story:
I did enjoy reading this since there's also comedy in it. As much as I don't want to put some spoilers, it's so funny how the guy keeps on talking about his love interest to his friend in a room while his friend's sibling, who ... is the guy's love interest, couldn't avoid to eavesdrop since the wall is so thin. Blame the wall and the guy's mouth. It's fun to read and it's not so cheesy like some typical shoujo mangas. Plus, it's about the journey of two characters as on their newfound romance. You don't have to wait for fifty chapters to see them together finally. The story is sweet and somehow realistic as you read it.

Characters:
I like the characters. They are all likeable and the main couple are not like some dumb characters there who kept on doing stupid things that can lead to another stupid drama which can ruin your day. They are so cute and sweet but the most appealing here is the girl's brother. He's diabolically handsome and funny especially when he interacts with the main guy's little sister. There's also one character here that gave me some headache. I know the author placed him there for a reason but I do hope the character's gonna change. There are still few chapters and maybe on next chapters, we might see some different sides of the characters. Lookng forward to it.

Art:
Total eye candy to our eyes. Since it's shoujo, it's expected to see handsome guys than beautiful and plain heroine. But in Ani Tomo, I was kind of surprise to see a beautiful heroine. I'm not into shoujo but I read some usually are the popular ones. Many main heroines in shoujo mangas have bland or plain looking art style but here Nanase really looks beautiful. So as the guys here. The art style is also clean making it pleasant for the readers.


I assure you that you'll gonna really enjoy this as this is not your typical shoujo stuffs. And over all I give this manga 10! Hope this review will help you.
