This anime is terrible. I watched this with my dog, and NEITHER of us enjoyed it. Also, my dog started looking at me funny (tail wag, blushing, etc) after this. Help. I am weirded out.
Anyway, my favorite character definitely has to be Inukai. She has an amazing PERSONALITY and is all around a very WELL-ROUNDED character. The way the story characterizes her as a caring individual who would go out of her way to bring a stray dog into her home really nails how amazing of a person she is.
