Honestly My Hero Academia is going downhill.
My Hero Academia season 1 introduced the characters, it set up the series as something different. Something that stood out to me about it was the fact that the characters weren't strong, Deku was weak and barely had his quirk. They were at a SCHOOL, which isn't completely new but the school atmosphere was new and them learning, actually learning how to be strong was too. And then season 2 was a masterpiece, the tournament arc and the Stain fight were amazing and different. They established the characters as getting stronger and learning, but not as strong as
...
any actual hero. It was like they could improve.
And then season 3 was boring, because to simply put it the 1-A students against villains, adult villians, who attack them for no reason, is boring. Most fights with Deku and predictable and the same. The first half of season 3 was slow and boring and I spaced out for like half of it, there were cute moment but I didn't feel connected to the plot, however the second half was much better. Maybe because it was students vs students again?
Similarly to season 3, season 4's first half was boring. It had its good moments, like Tamakis and Kirishimas backstories, and honestly BHNA's main strong point is its backstories and what they mean for their characters, but the fights in my opinion were kinda, lame. The second half of the season however was more interesting, focused on better characters and showed peoples changes and them bettering themselves, it wasn't fight based but it also wasn't boring.
My Hero Academia is farrrrrrrrr from bad, even when its boring its better than 99% of the other basic shounens out there, but its sad to see all of its unique aspects being thrown down the drain for a more basic, find enemy, fight enemy format. Seasons 1 and 2 were mostly student vs student, or student vs their personal enemies, the Stain fight showed Todoroki using fire which he said he wouldn't do and showed a brand new side of Tenya which was shocking, so even though the fight was against a random enemy, there was motive behind it and it worked. By Seasons 3 and 4 seemed to lack that, not to say they didn't have ANY good fights, because they definitely did (Deku vs Gentle, Tamaki vs those Shie Hassaikai members and Endeavor vs Hood for season 4 were really good).
Also the soundtrack is kinda strange, but that just might be a me thing.
I still love My Hero Academia, I love all of its characters and I have high hopes, but its not consistently good. I know it basically bashed it but honeslty I love all of the character and a good half of the fights are really, like extremely interesting. Its uniqueness however is fading away. I hope the author doesn't completely ditch the school part of it and focuses more on it later on. Overall its still a 8/10, with the first half of the season being a 6.5/10 and the second being an 8/10 (which probably rounds down to 7/10 but im in love with half the characters).

I don't think there's words to describe how shit this is.
I was dared to watch this as a "yaoi" thing by my brother, who didn't know what it was about. I just assumed it was some random bad basically porn yaoi, well I was wrong.
First of all, its incest, and then near the end they try to make you think its not. So here I was like "Oh, so at least its not AS bad", but no. They make it so that it IS incest, and that they ARE related. No matter what, even if they weren't blood related, the plot is still about a
...
father having SEX with his son, who views him as his biological father, which is disgusting. And then after they go with the whole "they're not actually related so its okay lol yeah totally lol just like adoptive parent and kid lol", I was a little LESS disgusted, but then they go another 180 and yeah, they're like uncle and nephew or something, which turns them more on. Like they literally got upset when they thought they weren't related.
And even if we take the blood related part out of it or incest in general, its still a grown man and a kid whos BARELY in high school, like thats disgusting enough on its own.
There's a whole subplot, I didn't pay attention to, it was one of those ones that seemed kinda obsessed and a little rapey, but everything in this genre seems rapey and obsessive so in that sense its just basic. A love triangle where it was a childhood best friend, I think they kiss and main uke guy is like -_-, honestly the whole thing was an eyesore to look at. It was basic, every yaoi has one, you knew they weren't gonna end up together it was only there for "drama" which ended up being boring, but this whole thing was boring so I guess that doesn't have much standing.
Its an OVA the art and music are bad thats nothing new.
The whole thing is off puttingly lighthearted, like the main characters act like its normal, and I haven't watched it in a while but they don't get scrutinized by the ukes biological mom or anyone else. I get the appeal, you know if it wasnt incest I'd probably give it a 2 or 3/10 for just being shit without any incest, but because its shit WITH incest its just terrible.
I watched this a while back and I'm only writing a review because I was looking back through my list and saw this and vomited a little in my mouth, and I looked at its rating and reviews, and didn't see one that truly encaptured the terribleness in this. If you want a disgusting show about a father raping his son with some random ass side character for a love triangle this is for you, and honestly if your into incest, I don't know what to tell you.

Alright let me get this clear it's fast paced and confusing but if you can keep up with it you can truly enjoy it.
The characters are strange, that's the only way to put it. Even the 'normal girl' is weird. Not a single character is realistic or relatable, so if you're looking for that this is not for you, but if you over characters attempting to be 'relatable' look no farther this is for you.
There really isn't a plot, it's more like random things happening quickly in the span of two minutes.
Look it really doesn't hurt to watch the series, each episode is only
...
two minutes so the whole season only takes around the average episode length of the average anime, but Teekyuu isn't the average anime.

I went into this show pretty new to anime, so I had my expectations low, this show couldn't meet one of them. The show started off slow paced, it focused more on character development between Izumiko and Miyuki, which really helped develop their relationship, but after that there really wasn't much time for the plot.
In the end Miyuki is the only character to get true character development, going from a jerk to a decent guy, if RDG did anything right it's Miyuki, but that's where the good part ends.
**********SPOILERS**********
As I said the plot progresses slow, leaving the ending incomplete with a scene in the theme
...
song the never happened(Miyuki and Izumiko's kiss) and a plot line left unsolved(Mayura and Miyuki's "marriage arrangement").
When I saw the first episode, even when I read the description, it intrigued me. The plot goes nowhere. The middle is hard to understand, choppy even. Things happening with little to no reasoning. Leaving things unexplained such as how Izumiko got her powers and why she can't touch electricity.
Izumiko's personality isn't very clear. In the beginning she's sweet, but at certain times near the end she becomes mean towards Miyuki for random reasons such as going on a 'date' with her goddess self and other things.
Izumiko's half goddess thing is also overlooked, the anime itself looks like a slice of life anime. RDG goes more into culture than they do the backstory.
If you like slow moving plots that go nowhere this anime is for you!
