The story is told in the form of the autobiography of a sociopath who comes from a rich family and is very handsome. He uses his circumstances to manipulate others, especially women, who fall in love with him at first sight all the time. He has a very crazy life, one day he becomes embroiled in an underground organisation that plans terrorist attacks, the next day he becomes a successful mangaka, and some time later he starts being a junkie who tries to pimp his own wife in order to have a cut.

The biggest complaint I have about this manga is its pace and authenticity. ... It's unbelievable in a bad way. In the beginning the main character meets a girl who becomes his lover, and not much later she agrees to commit collective suicide with him (only she dies, of course). Several years later he asks a cigarette shop saleswoman to marry him and she immediately agrees, despite the fact that she had barely known him and moments earlier he had only asked her if she would be his girlfriend and she hesitated.

The manga sets out to shock audiences with themes such as suicide, rape, drug abuse, forced abortion and prostitution, etc. but it's hard to take it all seriously because of how absurd the main character's life story is presented.

One thing to be commended for is the enjoyable art style and the way the various mental states or delusions after drug use are portrayed.

PS. For the entire time I thought I was reading a Junji Ito's manga and was proven wrong after reading the MAL page...

This series started strong but got a little bit worse with literally every episode and near the beggining of part 2 became unwatchable. The part that got me hooked was MC using his adult-life experience to become a genius at early age, quickly mastering spellcasting, outsmarting his parents etc. Sadly the progression fantasy aspect got quickly replaced by too much pedo sex-stuff, generic characters (like tsundere redhead) and boring MMO-like quest system with ranks. At this point the only time MC refers to his past is when he wants to remind the viewer that he is a pedo scumbag, other than that he acts like ... perverted teenager. Such a wasted potential and a letdown.
