I thoroughly enjoyed Darling in the Franxx, it was fantastic from the start to the middle, the only thing that really bugged me was the ending. The ending and the introduction of space felt extremely rushed and messy. Leaving you with a bunch of plot holes and a mess to navigate through. Nevertheless, I did find some aspects of the ending well done and beautiful. If given an extra episode, Darling in the Franxx could've easily been much better. Before the ending, the world-building was absolutely fantastic and very interesting. The characters are very well written although they aren't amazing characters. The thing is characters ... like Ichigo are hated but are well-written. The sound and art are very enjoyable highlighted by the fire opening Kiss of Death. In conclusion, Darling in the Franxx was very enjoyable and amazing, however, despite it's potential and early hurrahs it eventually fell flat on its face with an ending that did little to give justice to the earlier part of the series.
