Both of these stories are from the perspective of small wholesome girls in the demon king's castle. These stories both have the daily going-ons of the demon king's castle, lots of "death" and powerful characters.

If you liked Urami Koi, Koi, Urami Koi. add

...then you might like Catulus Syndrome add

Both have cute catgirls who are shy and can transform into cats. Both contain love rivals, confessions, and cute embarrassment. Both of the catgirls often behave as cats would. Catulus Syndrome has more yuri, and in my opinion the cuter catgirl, and shyness trends towards depression themes. Tayotare is closer to social anxiety, and contains more fighting than cats. I highly recommend both, as they all have good kitties.

Both have the same style of jokes in a sense - the unexpected humor and running gags. If you are like me, you will get good laughs from both.

These anime both follow the same general formula in a sense. If you liked one, I suggest watching the other. I wonder who would win in a game of rock, paper, scissors ;)

Both anime feature OP MCs in other worlds of types. In Noukin, the MC is reborn having "average" abilities, making her super powerful. In BOFURI, The MC keeps stumbling upon over-powered skills because of their unpredictable nature. That is one of the biggest differences between them. BOFURI's MC, in the anime, is unpredictable, and in Noukin, the MC is so predictable that everyone knows her single excuse. But don't let Noukin's current low rating steer you away from it, it is an excellent and fairly well thought-out anime, even explaining how magic is scientifically possible (to an extent, not like the writers did a PHD in it). If you have watched either one of these and thought it was a 7.5 or up, I am sure you will enjoy the other too!
