Well, well, well. This was faaaar beyond my expectations. -adjusts glasses-.
Also, spoiler free revieeeeeeew~!
For what I know Ouran High School Host Club, is the most popular reverse harem anime. It's what I believe in because this is the most recommended and talked about when you say "reverse harem".
Anyway, I definitely recommend reading both anime and manga for they have quite some twists in it. Though, I think manga should be prioritized.
Brief review pointing out what I can.
Anyway. Let's get started!
...
Story is: 9
I'd have to give it to them. They revolve around realistically and the turn of events are surprisingly good. The "idiotic" acts of the characters gives off a nice spice to the scenes and stuff.
The story's unique and very original. I must say, this anime is not only appealing to girls, but it may be enjoyed by many. It has a really good laugh into it!
I'm lucky to have my own room or else my parents would've thought that I've gone crazy already...
Anyway! Here we have the commoner scholar, Fujioka Haruhi, in Ouran High School, which is a reserved school for the wealthy and renowned students. Having troubles on finding a quiet place to study, she stumbled upon an "abandoned" room which is the third music room. There, she discovers that the Host Club with wealthy, gorgeous guys lies in there. Upon showing apathy, she ends up breaking a vase costing a huge amount of money. She can't possibly repay it, therefore in order to pay back, she must work as a host until the given quota is reached. (y)
The pace was neat. Even though occasionally it's quite slow. Although it's slow, you really wouldn't feel it if you were totally into it. I needed to restrain myself most of the time that's why I noticed (I always watch at like 2 am and stuff. ehehe..he........ '-').
Art is: 8
Since it was quite an old anime, the design is a bit on the old style ones, ne? But nevertheless, the character design's definitely killing it! The main characters were indeed captivating-- both girls and boys >:D

This anime. My god.
This easily caught me and stuff. xD
Okay story will be: 9
It was really, really lovely. I enjoyed it and really felt the emotions and stuff in it. The storyline was really awesome and I find some things predictable yet somehow, they still amaze me though I knew that certain thing I predicted was like true and stuff. Some things were quite relatable (idek if that’s a word but hey, there’s nothing more I can describe it or something xD). Quite. Don’t get me wrong. Everything just fits in place and all of that makes it even cooler than it should
...
be. I absolutely liked this one here.
I also admire on how it was like, it has already build up in the very beginning, because usually it'd take like halfway through before the tension builds up and stuff.
Well there are some points were it's all taken slow due to, you know, carefully planning the tactics and stuff. Either way, it didn't really bore me at all and that is because their tactics are really interesting. (y)
This may not be your typical type of art design, but hey! The battle scene were really, really epic. So the normal scenes might be like ‘meh’ but I tell you, the battle scenes are a HELL YEAAAAA! :))
The expressions were also really weiiiiird buuuut. Whatever. The story and events will make oblivious of the art once you really get into it.
It should’ve been an 7. But the titans were freaaaakin’ adorbs.

It’s perfect when you love science or time travelling skits. It’s absolutely all about that. xD
Definitely, this anime is for the Sci-Fi fans. It's literally perfect for them.
Also, Makise Kurisu is hawt. Okay.
The plot was built amazingly. You won’t see this and that coming. Totally beautiful, man. The thrill's already building up in the very first episode, and that usually doesn't happen, alright? But I see the story going on like this though: thrilling, slow plot, thrilling, slow plot' kind of thing. Though of course, this is my perspective obviously.
There are like parts that gives you that feeling where you’d be like
...
‘OI SNAP OUT OF IT MAN’ or like ‘YUUUS’ or something. Frustration, joy, evilness, etc. Or is it just me? Just me? ….okay. :c
There aren't really many but I guess in the visual novel there’ll be tons. But in the anime, you may be able to only count it by fingers but I shit you not. They’re awesome. The OSTs are also genuinely pretty. They are, in fact, very melodic, and it's really a masterpiece. It's so smooth like~~. :3
Character design and their attitude: are you friggin’ kidding me. It’s absolutely awesome! Everything fits it. If you tell me Hououin Kyouma and Makise Kurisu is not cool then how could u. ;—————; idek anymore. But yeah, 10 dr. peppers out of 10 jelly bananas! :3
As I've said, the pace of the anime for me is quite mixed. But overall, I have clearly enjoyed it. The events were pretty neatly arranged, and the dialogues are just. It's pure genius!

Angel Beats! is probably one of my favorites because this one is genuinely unique. I really like it because everything just fits perfectly in place. The characters fits the storyline and the music fits the scene. It's like tetris, you know, perfectly fitting into those gaps and stuff.
The character’s back stories are just like it can happen in real life, and I kind of like that aspect. I guess it’s like one of the spices that I had appreciate in here. The story is very simple but really, really well written. You gotta go give Key and other people who helped a very big

high five and a brofist. I’ve read somewhere that Jun Maeda is like the creator of this story, music composer and stuff like that. So thank you very much for bringing this simple yet awesome masterpiece in this world. >:D<
The art may be not really that great, but it’s still amazing. You won’t really mind it that much once your mind’s like set for the story already or something like that. But the design’s really cool though. But for others, it may be cute though because despite I just said all of those, a part of me finds it really cute and stuff. xD
Music. Ugh. The music! Amazingly amazing. Just wow. I’m at loss for words in here. It’s just perfect in every way. Fits the whole anime and basically adds to that feel in the scene and all of that. The soundtracks here are definitely added to my favorites because it’s just really beautiful. You have to go and check them out. :D
The characters are absolutely perfect. No doubts. Because. Man! They really differ to each other but together with the story line their own personalities make this chemistry. I just can’t explain it. They blend very well with each other, and stuff. I have to admit with another reviewer that this may be the strongest point in here overall. Relate or not relate to their feelings, you’ll still feel that feel. Idk. It’s really awesome on how they put this up.
Most preferred voice is the Japanese. The delivery is absolutely intimate to the story like holy hell. It’s really like happening to themselves and it’s just so beautiful. Utterly amazing. The rating of this one would be counted as characters, basically it’s a character thing also. :))
I really enjoyed on how the story flowed and how it played really neatly. It's also not boring even though you're just at like the neutral episode of this. It's just like they put some kind of potion in it that once you've watched one whole episode, the potion takes its toll and makes you go watch more. And that potion is enjoyment. xD
Very, very great anime! And I hope to see more Jun Maeda works and stuff!
