i think this changed something within ny brain chemistry. i cant think of many more striking and hilarious moments in this medium than the part where seki stabs his doppelganger in the stomach for getting in the way of him fucking his laserdisc girlfriend and then the doppelganger disappears while bleeding to death on the floor, bare ass naked. all to the tune of dvorak.
the art is charming. i like how indicative of the time it is. the music is some ok city pop. the animation is alright, theres some quite good looking flourishes at times. the story is just bizarre.
