i have this anime's manga for quite a long time but i never read it, yesterday after finished watching silent voice i wanted to watch this since they were being compared a lot and here i am having finished the film and unfortunately, i have very mixed feeling about this anime i want to preface it by saying i liked it but never get the hype i mean it is good and but neither did it hit harder that a silent voice nor it could get any close and i am feeling very sad about that because i had high expectations going into this however,

It is a great anime for someone who needs motivation in his life i saw hundreds of people started boxing because of ippo but reality doestnt correspond with its nature freaky, "never give up" ass nature when you are knocked down in real life thats it. You are simply done for but in the ippo on the other hand the character perpetually gets knocked down but perseveres through no matter what it is a very incredible metaphor in my opinion because it indirectly tells you to never give up regardless of what you do, but your average joe can get all pumped up upon seeing

as a drama lover this film hit me in the heart it does everything in its power to make us hate the mc ishida and the others are embodiment of greatly known phrase "cruelty of children" they constantly bully the girl until our lead bullier gets busted.
