Okay so at first when you see this anime they are completely different, but hear me out. Simmilar trope of the main characters that technically shouldnt be in love but fall for eachother anyways. Main male lead looks akwardly simmilar so if you are searching for main character with black hair and stoic vibes you got it too Also in both wordls there is magic. In Magical Girl and the Evil Lieutenant its more "typical earth with magic" and in Fairy Tale its full new magical world of fairies Both anime are slowburn too!!

If you liked Made in Abyss add

...then you might like Dungeon Meshi add

This shows are completly different but... the same? Dungeon Meshi has "cozy" and happy appearance at first, the same thing goes for Made In Abyss. At some point both anime have dark turn that only becomes darker and darker and more creepy as the shows continuous Sadly in made in abyss you wont see a lot of cooking which is big part of the Dungeon Meshi but i think the world of "abyss" and how amazing world building is will make up to lack of cooking!

The same vibes, and kinda design of the anime overall too... Main female character in both anime is shy and mostly calm (+ airhead) where male lead is chaotic and gets easily flustered by fem. char. actions Both anime are also slow paced and really nice to watch while studying or drawing!
