I kinda love Angel beats its melodramatic you can feel the executive meddling and the animation is only okay still love it. the premise is very intriguing trying to fight your way out of the afterlife and deciding when enough is enough. the art is nothing special no overly impressive sequences but it doesn't hurt to watch. the opening is Top Tier the voices good the sub over dub neither is bad though. characters an eccentric bunch with sad back stories if you like those kinds of characters you'll like this group. I thoroughly enjoyed this show. this show was meant to be 24 episodes ... not 12 and it shows the ending only makes sense with fan theory's. still I liked it.

Better than the original SAC no still it's worth watching. Better than arise not really its familiar characters in a new less visually appealing setting. the actual continuity compared to arise is cool even if the characters haven't changed much. With the exception of one character the sec 9 group have changed very little. That lack of change helps old fans remain attached to characters but is odd considering the time gap. The music isnt bad but it doesn't really impress less ethereal chimming than you might expect. Did I enjoy this show yes a good Netflix binge worthy show.
