Too many people rated this anime poorly without watching more then 3 episodes! This is not a comedy or about some girl on pig action. I hate reviewing anime before they are complete but the reviews are really doing this anime an injustice. One of the only reviewers to even finish 11 episodes admits to only watching 5 minutes of each episode. That's ridiculous. The anime is slower paced and draws you in. Not some slapstick comedy where you get the "gist" in 5 minutes. This is a mystery drama with small amounts of comic relief. I generally hate anime with transmorph isekei (like that

I'll watch any isekei anime, even this one! If you love isekei anime, this is worth watching. If you don't absolutely love isekei, I recommend you give this a hard pass so you don't hurt your brain. It's fun to watch, but it really makes no sense how barrier magic, the protagonist's only skill, can substitute for literally anything. The MC is way too OP, and has no ambition just like this anime. So why did I give this a 7? Because I will take any isekei, even this one. This is one of those shows you watch once and then forget about forever. But

Another great Chinese anime with terrible english subs. The story and artwork are masterful. Compared to some of the anime I've seen in the VRMMORPG category, this one is clearly superior with no slapstick comedy, a clear plot, and good character development. Although each episode is a short 14 minutes, it is still an engrossing story. But the subs are really bad! Why are all Chinese anime like this?! I mean, clearly this is a quality production on par with and even exceeding many Japanese anime, yet the only subs you can get are fan fiction subs that read like a straight Google translate transcription.

I don't get all the haters. The story is cohesive. The MC isn't a whinny little b*tch. The girls are hot and everyone has a backstory and their own personality. The MC is OP but his progression makes sense. He is stuck in a dungeon on hardcore mode and finds a unique way to survive and get stronger. And he spends a long time in there, so of course he will be strong when he gets out. His original abilities are Transmutation and Reading Comprehension. Being someone from a technologicaly advanced world, it makes sense that he would be able to leverage his newfound abilities

This is the most boring anime I have ever watched. It has no real plot and half the time makes no sense at all. It has all the worst tripes with some new lows thrown in like villains diatribing, pointlessly endless self justications and explanations, and for good measure, the good guys are doing more damage to each other than the villains 99% of the time. Every one almost dies at least once but then magically gets healed to new as if it never happened. The story extols the virtue of abdicating responsibility. I had high hopes for this show because I really liked the idea behind it: guy dies, a deity let's him take one thing to another world (tired old idea)...and he chooses his smartphone (something new). If only the creators had developed this premise instead of turning him into an OP magic weilder with a harem of overdeveloped 12 year old girls.... All of which really has NOTHING to do with his smartphone. Even his smartphone becomes magical hocus pocus, not that he needs it AT ALL, given he is easily the most powerful being on this world.

Amazing feel good anime. I liked this better than the other 2, but I'm excited to watch them again now. Unlike other reviewers, I really don't think you need to watch the others first. This may have come later, but it is a prequel, and lays a good foundation, so you can watch it without ever watching the other ones.
I really hope there is a second season. They certainly left room for a lot more content to come. Here's hoping! --Review Ends here-- Writing longer reviews for the sake of writing long reviews is ridiculous. I have to keep writing in order to meet the minimum ...

i was very surprised to see such low ratings! it feels weird to be reviewing a show that hasn't finished airing yet, but I felt something needed to be said so people don't turn away from this masterpiece based on the ratings and negative reviews.
First of all, the art is incredible! This clockwork world is simply beautiful. The characters are interesting and creative. I love that the lead doesn't struggle with the kind of self esteem issues that drag on character development in many shows.
