im alicia hii. i often end up watching/reading one of three things:
-psychological thrillers/horrors
-sapphic/girls love
-comedy
but youll see in my list that i also kind of just look at whatever—with an exception to shounen animanga, which i generally avoid just bc i dont typically like them.. i also usually dont watch/read things with male protagonists, and if i do, i usually dont enjoy them 🙏 so i have a bit of a bias

everything in my “favorites” is listed left to right from most to least favorite :) except for “characters” which i couldn’t pick for,,

keep in mind i score things based on how i feel about them, and often my issues with certain things boil down to them not appealing to me or boring me.

here are some things that appeal to me!!
- tsunderes
- pink haired girls
- odd plot lines
- animals
- female protagonists/primarily female casts
- sapphics
- wide arrays of different superpowers/supernatural humanoids
- happy/bittersweet endings
- isekais
- fairies, vampires, conscious zombies
- characters subverting expectations (seemingly fragile/sensitive/weak character is really strong/gets really snarky/defensive)
- secretly x girls with really sweet or popular personas
- whatever bocchi/hitori gotoh is as a trope
- doomed lesbians
- uncharacteristic magical girls (ie; homura akemi, momo chiyoda)

and some things that scare me off 💔
- idealized proships
- male protagonists
- harem animanga
- girl has most basic man ever as love interest
- overly violent/gorey animes
- generally shounen with some exceptions..


my scoring and what it means <3

1 - really bad. atrocious. not a fan!
2 - still really bad but not the worst..
3 - i didnt enjoy this at all.
4 - a little below average. left a bit of a sour taste.
5 - fine, average, nothing special
6 - a little above average. i liked this, it was good.
7 - pretty good! i enjoyed this a lot but it maybe didnt leave a lasting impression
8 - SO good! a really good series, would absolutely recommend.
9 - basically the best!!! super super good but for whatever reason is not a 10. would probably rewatch.
10 - the best of the best! nothing compares in my head. i give this rating out very rarely because this is a big deal to me. one of my favorites, probably in my top ten, too.
