This is a review for the whole series(i.e. till Silver Soul 2 arc)
Pros:
*Great characters and voice acting is on point and affirms why you should watch an anime in sub
*The comedy is real and though sometimes it is weak the love for the series that most of you will develop over a period of time will make you brush them aside
*Heavy foreshadowing in earlier episodes about the later arc(Im a sucker for them maybe others are not)
*Great character relationship potrayal
*The OP and ED and OSTs are beautiful and I listen to their full versions too(This is subjective since not everyone has same taste)
*Doesnot spoil in

OP like a certain manly anime
*The Comedy arcs are great but the serious arcs are something straight out of something written by Jeffery Archer(I like his work some people may not)
*The 4D wall breaking is great and the fact that they are aware of the scandals caused by them is hilarious
*You can watch it in any order of liking even though I watched it from the start,I showed some of the comedy arcs to my sister and she had not problem understanding what was going on though be careful to not accidentaly watch the serious arc without watching the earlier ones
Cons:
*The first two episodes are not a good intro to the series add to the fact that even ep 3 and the first few ones are a bit boring...in this age where instant gratification is sought after Gintama has none of that
*The 4:3 and bad animation in the first 201 episodes might be a turn off for most people
*The gags sometimes fall flat on their faces for people who have no idea about what the characters arw talking(been there myself)
*Power of friendship is strong in this one...though it doesnot prevail everytime
*For a mostly comedy anime this one made me choke and cry a river most of the time
