I have been watching a lot of Manhwa on youtube. Most is just escapist fan fiction. Predictable power trips not a lot of story. This one is different.. you think it's going to be more of the same but then it pivots and escalates. Then you think you know what's going to happen and it pivots and escalates some more.
For me, the highest praise I can give to any series is to say it is unpredictable. Bonus points for being unpredictable and also making sense. This tells a story that hasn't been done before and does it in a logical

This is listed as Action, Fantasy, Romance? No that's not right, this is a comedy. If you have seen "sword art online abridged" this MC should be familiar. Is it as good as sword art online abridged by something witty entertainment? No. But that's OK it was still funny and I was cracking up laughing most episodes.
The show frequently makes fun of itself and I love it for it. Character development was not bad for the MC and a bit light for the others Art was... Honestly I don't notice art much Also I watched the english dubbed version ...

Is this the best Anime of the season? Yes actually. In a world of cookie cuter anime plots with template characters, this show does things differently. Deep characters. Consequences. The world can be big or small. Sometimes you are on an adventure but sometimes you just stay home for the night. life moves on seasons change. The main characters in our lives change. We move they move, this series captures that in a way no other has.
The series is not predictable. High praise for the fantasy anime category. The MC goes through real character development. Other ...

Under Rated.
Oh there is a minimum work count that's fine. I went into the show blind without seeing the ratings. Finished watching in 2 days and wow it was fantastic. Though to be clear, I love shows that are able to surprise me but still make sense. This one does, again and again. I also love a fast paced show. In a world full of predictable cookie cutter anime, this is a gem. The fact it appeared to be another generic anime before turning into a real show was just one of the twists. Only 5 episodes in but I've burst out laughing a few times already so it gets a review! Is this show brilliant? Well no but it's good and it's funny at times.
I also liked the first episode. the first half had me ready to drop the show due to the shear quantity of cheese but then they pulled the old "just kidding that's not really the protagonist" and I was back on board. There are dozens of better anime out there and with limited time go watch those first... but if you want a OP girl MC and you are running low ...

You know how most anime make their first episode great to hook the audience? Plunderer goes a different direction.
Good show hidden behind several episodes of ridiculous unnecessary fan service. Good world building, some unique ideas are explored. Perhaps they could have done more with the 24 episodes they had. Fantasy/ sci-fi with a good dose of drama. The drama is stronger than the romance which they seem to fumble with a fair bit. Above average characters and depth. Not brilliant but not bad. Interesting ethical dilemmas. Sometimes a bit forced. I'm not sure if I gave it an 8 because it ...

A masterpiece I don’t recommend? Well, it’s complicated.
This was the most depressing anime I’ve ever watched. I felt sad remembering this anime years later. It’s still makes me a little sad. Do you like feeling sad? Me neither. If I could un-watch this, I definitely would. The only other parallels I can think of are the books "1984" and "Lord of the flies". Both undisputed masterpieces... that I wish I had not read. You can’t have a show this depressing without masterful, writing, characters, pacing, and visuals. The characters acted in ways that were relatable and realistic, and I really wish they hadn’t. ...

Wow what can I say about Guilty Crown? First time I watched it I gave it a 3. I don't vive out many 3s. I must have hated it with a passion. But then I forgot about it for a few years because compared to Code Geass it is forgettable. Watching the show again I recognized a few scenes but had forgotten the plot. When I logged in after my second viewing to give the show a 9 I saw my previous ranking of 3. How is this possible? I was very confused... Perhaps my expectations?

Much like Mahou Shoujo Madoka★Magica this show doesn't pull any punches. You haven't seen Mahou Shoujo Madoka★Magica? ok well add that to your list too. Majo no Tabitabi is lighter and more upbeat in general but still gets very dark in parts. You may expect a slice of life with generic characters but instead get something far more nuanced then we expect from typical anime these days.
