This show is well below average no character Development no interesting plot and no idea why the main character needs to cheat on his wife at every opportunity.

Story is not too surprising he's able to import items from Earth and utilize them in the fantasy world it's been done before and been done before much better. Actually it's so common it might as well be a sub genre.

Characters don't develop they just show up and kind of do their thing most of the characters main characteristic is how much they love the main character. his main characteristic is... I don't know never ... turning down an opportunity to get lucky? Ever.

On the bright side the plot does move along quickly each episode tends to have something new and interesting or at least new happen.

The great thing about this anime is you can watch it again and again. not because it's good but because it is so thoroughly forgettable.

There is no real chemistry there is no real conflict or interesting things that happen it's just empty content.

I have watched it at least three times because after a year all I remember is it's some generic Isekai. and since I don't remember anything about it I watch it again. And the cycle continues

It's a little unfortunate that none of the characters have any depth at all.

Main character has a girlfriend but there is zero chemistry there ... and also zero character development.

The Main character gains points from me by not cheating on his girlfriend with his sizable harem but loses points because he does cheat on her with hookers on two separate occasions. Why the hookers were made part of this story? I have no idea. the main character really doesn't seem like the type.

So if you're running out of good things to watch and you just want empty content... have we got the show for you.

What's the term when an anime brings in too many characters and has to sideline some of the original characters? First season was fine. It had some memorable characters that I cared about. Season two unfortunately spun out of control. No idea why they felt the need to do this but it completely diluted the show. Now we've got new characters that I can't bring myself to care about or learn the names of. if they had stuck to a smaller number of characters with more intense character development that definitely would have been a good move. As it ... was they had such a large cast they had to sideline the original characters in order to keep bringing in new ones. And then the new characters also got immediately sidelined. demon Lord retry season two fell into the same trap and failed just as spectacularly. Not the first time an anime has failed in this way. Its too bad because the first season had really set up the main character with strong emotional feelings for at least two girls but none of that paid off in any way throughout all of season two he just kind of ignored them.

Surely there is a term for that in fiction also? The knight in a shining armor pines over the princess, saves the Princess, but then once he saved her has no idea what to do next with her. So the author just keeps introducing new characters instead. I feel like an editor somewhere really needs to tell them to work with the characters they've already got rather than just continue with adding more and more.

One of the most disappointing second seasons I've seen this year

Some of the better characters I've seen in anime. Calling it a romance is a little bit of a stretch I suppose. It has a little bit of everything a lot of sweetness a bit of slice of life but not too much it can be cute but not in a cute seed unrealistic way. Characters act like high school kids which is not easy to write properly. pacing is good. I always look forward to the next episode and they were over far far too soon.

None of the characters feel like someone I've seen on another show with ... a different hair colour. You don't realize how rare that is in anime. The amount of character recycling is out of control. So to have a show like this full of fresh new characters which are all well developed is very refreshing. There are no good people and there are no bad people there are just people. OK well correction to that, the main character is good to her core, but she has a few faults here and there too. Just enough to make her interesting.

So if you just watched some serious anime and are feeling a little bit down we're stressed out this show should make you happy. watch and enjoy the wonderful characters go through their lives together.

Solid show. Big plot, big ideas. female lead character. Some impressive characters interesting motivations. Honestly the show was probably heading towards getting a 9 until the last couple episodes which just seemed to stumble along trying to introduce new aspects while trying to wrap up everything, it was a little unsatisfying. I understand they had to shorten the episodes down to 26 which had an impact and that's unfortunate.

The story was unique not terribly predictable which I appreciate.

Does the art hold up well? Nope. But I don't mind. The point he noses are interesting artistic choice but at some angles ... they look down right odd...

A unique spin on a very over saturated genre. I like the fact that the characters were well done which allowed us to stay invested in the story and the romance.

If you're looking for a sweet anime, with good characters, none of whom get torn in half by monsters, this might be a good choice for you.

I was particularly impressed by the steady fast pace characters and plot is constantly moving forward significant progress is made every couple episodes. You don't have to wait until the season finale to see the plot progress which is lovely in this kind of show

If ... you're looking for a cute anime with a bit of action a bit of romance this is a great choice.

There are a lot of animes that have taken this exact concept of a young reincarnated overpowered protagonist who builds an empire. While the entire genre is not great On average this show might just be the worst.

The complete lack of character development is astounding. There are so many characters that I don't know any of their names there's no emotional connection between any of them it's just a bunch of things that happen to some overpowered protagonist. He spends most of his time becoming even more overpowered as if that was necessary or interesting.

Honestly I have no idea why ... they thought animating this would turn out well.

A solid anime. Perhaps cursed to be compared to the superior Apothecary Diaries The show is very good on its own.

Characters are good plot is good pacing is good. They mix in some reasonably decent plot twists there is just a hint of romance and some good character interactions.

Overall this show is well above average. It involved avoidance using any cookie cutter characters and feels like it has some original things to offer.

The show also doesn't shy away from the horrors of living in or being sent to the Imperial Palace of old. People have feelings and not everyone is going to be ... happy to be there despite the luxury. Also the show doesn't always pull its punches so it can surprise you at times.

It was a good show but I felt like it could be more. It lacked the Magic to draw you in and make you cry or make you laugh it was close to being a masterpiece but not a masterpiece. Still a solid choice especially if you're looking for a show with a female protagonist and you've already gone through the top 10.

This is fantastic! finally an anime with no redeeming features whatsoever. I don't even remember the last time I gave an anime a 3.

The plot is a disjointed train wreck. The mostly forgettable girls from the first season are replaced by another batch of even more forgettable characters none of which get enough screen time to make any sense at all.

They also spend the first two episodes recreating scenes from the first season which was 100 percent unnecessary because it added nothing. Not a recap mind you, That would be acceptable. No this is a reanimation of the first couple episodes and I ... have no idea why they would do that. Especially since the characters from those episodes don't show up in most of the rest of the season.

I really have no idea how an anime like this gets created, Perhaps something about production schedules and money laundering I don't know.

The first season of this anime was well below average but this second season is awful.

this show is fine. it's cute, it's sweet, no Characters are particularly overpowered, it's a pretty solid anime.

The fact that they're stuck in a love triangle and will be for the foreseeable future is frustrating. The fact that both love interests were ready to kill her and use her was also not great. I get the new falling in love with a villain Trope but this is taking it a bit too far.

On the other hand there's not exactly a ton of anime with reasonably good female protagonists so if you've watched all the other stuff already feel free to give this one ... a try.

The fact that I cared enough to write a review and was sad that there's not a second season means I guess I recommend it despite its many flaws.
