Usavich is a very unique anime. It is the type of show that you have to go into very open minded and not expecting anything serious. If you even try to take any of the short 1:30 episodes seriously then you will not enjoy the quirkiness of Usavich.
--STORY 6/10--
There is no real 'story' per say to Usavich, it is just two rabbits in a prison going about they activities throughout each day. There is no offical dialouge but there is no required. The characters appear to be working towards a goal but they themselves care much and neither do the viewers watching it need to
...
care. It's just fun and so stupidly funny.
--ART 5/10--
The art is your typical animation style, not anime style but Disney Pixar style. It is not too mind blowing but the colours and small setting make the animation not really take toll.
--SOUND 6/10--
The sound effects are quite intruging, they are often not actually fitting to the situation occuring which makes it funnier. As I said previously, there is no real dialouge but the small sound effects add enough to scenes.
--CHARACTER 7/10--
The characters are very interesting. Kirenenko is a rabbit who only cares about sneakers and is very easily aggrevated especially when it is involving Putin, his cell mate who seems to lead quite a simple life day to day in the cell. The simple dynamic of these two opposing characters creates hilarious situations and that is all the series needs.
--ENJOYMENT 7/10--
Usavich made me laugh a lot and I watched the whole series in one sitting as it is such short and easy to watch episodes. Each one made me laugh at a different stupid thing and it was such an easy watch as it wasn't serious and gave me time to chill whilst having a laugh.
--OVERALL 7/10--
In general, Usavich is just a fun, stupid non-stressful serious that lets you relax and have a laugh with these two funny characters who create the most senseless situations.

Sword Art Online is one of those animes that a lot of hardcore anime fans will tell you is mainstream and terrible but then there are also a lot of dedicated fans to the series. SAO is not the best anime, but that does not make it a terrible anime. It is enjoyable and I made my way through the series within a few days so I must have enojyed in some respects.
--STORY 6/10--
One thing is for certain, the first arc is better then the second. With the first art actually taking place in SAO the fight scenes are really cool and I felt an
...
interest in the storyline. The second arc takes place in a different game which I already thought was a strange thing to do but then it also completely changes the way I see the characters and their situations. They most likely could have just ended the series after the first arc and somply not shown the second at all and I think that would have been a much more powerful and thought-provoking story.
--ART 9/10--
The art in this anime is quite beautiful. The characters look cool, the fight scenes are well animated and the colours are all very bold and pretty. I really did like the overall look of this anime.
--SOUND 8/10--
Much like the art, the sound in this anime was interesting and well done. It suited what was happening during the scenes and could make what would actually be quite a boring part during the sometimes dull plot an interesting scene.
--CHARACTER 5/10--
The characters I think were probably the most annoying part about SAO for me. Kiritio is a basic and bland protaganist and I know it is so that the viewer can put themselves into his position whilst watching the anime but that does not mean he has to have as bland of a personalilty as he is shown to have. It was also annoying how OP he was just because. There was no specific reason as to why he was such a good player and although people will argue it is due him being in the beta or being solo, other characters that were also in the beta were still not as OP as him (sorry rant over). Asuna was a really interesting character I found especially in the beginning of the first arc. I liked her throughout the rest of that arc as well but then in the second arc everything I liked about her (how she was such a badass) was taken away and she was put into a position of a damsel in distress who needed to be saved. If she could have retained some of her qualities from the first arc through to the second she could have remained a much more interesting character.
--ENJOYMENT 7/10--
Even though there were many times I sat there thinking to myself 'why was I watching this', I can 100 percent see why so many people enjoy Sword Art Online. I myself cannot deny that I did enjoy watching it and doing my dance to the opening.
--OVERALL 7/10--
Overall, this was a fun and enjoyable story (throughout the first arc at least) with sometimes annoying (a lot of the time) characters and a pretty predictable plot but as I said, it is still able to be watched and liked. I suggest you watch it yourself and build your own opinion as this is an anime everyone who has seen it has their own very distinct opinion on it so go make your own.

Wow, that was a good anime. Myself and many others agree that Clannad is one of those animes that all lovers of the media should watch. I really enjoyed pretty much every episode and am keen to watch After Story.
--STORY--
Clannad had a story that moved along most of the time at a good pace although sometimes I felt as though it was a bit slow, and sometimes even rushed but in the grand scheme it was good. I enjoyed learning about each characters own stories and seeing them come together to achieve the same thing. I got quite emotional to say the least at some
...
points and that is hard to achieve.
--ART--
The art was very pretty to look at and the characters were all very cute, but it doesn't really stand out as an art different to others.
--SOUND--
The music in Clannad was amazing. I loved the opening and ending themes and all the songs played throughout added something to each scene and helped bring up the emotions when it was needed.
--CHARACTER--
I liked all the characters in Clannad. They each had their own distinct personalities and motives which I think really helped towards the success of the story. There were a few characters that stood out more then others but they all still managed to have an impact.
--ENJOYMENT--
I really enjoyed watching this anime. Each arc was interesting and it was so nice to look at and listen to. I didn't get annoyed at the characters like I quite often can do and I truly loved seeing each character grow throughout the series.
--OVERALL--
Clannad is an amazing anime. It has great characters, sounds and story even if sometimes it can be slightly slowed or rushed. I would recommend this anime to everyone who already watches anime or wishes to start.

The seasons of Yami Shibai continue to get less interesting except for a few good episodes here and there, but this season is what has made it really drop off as series that I was interested in. I did enjoy all the previous seasons even if none could quite match up to the beauty that was Yami Shibai season 1, but I still liked watching them. For season 4 though, this was not the case.
--STORY--
I felt the stories in this season were unfinished. A lot of them had a good idea but they were just executed poorly and done to their full potential. Episodes such
...
as episode 3 and 10 were probably in my opinion some of the better episodes of this season with others just feeling like they still had more to give. I also didn't find myself scared during any of this episodes and just left most confused and trying to research what had happened.
--ART--
Disappointing, the one word I would use to describe the art in this season. As I stated in my reviews of the other seasons of Yami Shibai, the art was beautiful and very creepy at the same time which is what gave Yami Shibai that appeal and atmosphere. This season, they made the decision to change the art style, what reasoning was behind that decision I do not know nor wish to because it was not a good one. A cool thing this season did do though was add aspects of live action. Some of these live action scenes were really creepy and I felt added to my enjoyment of the series, sadly though, these were not enough to make this season worthwile.
--SOUND--
The sound was not to bad considering. I felt as though the characters voices were not heard though as pretty much every episode consisted of two lines from actual characters and the rest being the narrator. This is someting that most people watching didn't agree with. I felt as though the characters need more lines for me to become more connected with them and understand how they actually felt in these situations.
--CHARACTER--
Most of these characters I didn't really feel any sympathy for as they didn't really help themselves. All these situations could have been avoided if the characters weren't so out of it. It was interesting having a different narrator each episode though which has led to some cool theories. That is pretty much the only good thing to come out of this season.
--ENJOYMENT--
As I said, I enjoyed all the previous seasons of Yami Shibai, but I felt whilst watching this season that I wasn't watching it because I wanted to but because the episodes were short and I felt like I should since I had watched the rest. There were maybe 2 episodes that I did get an ever so slight creep factor from but nothing scared me a lot or made me really feel like I was excited for the next story the season was going to bring.
--OVERALL--
Yami Shibai has gone downhill, everyone who has watched each season knows that. From season 1 the episodes started getting less creepy but they were still good and the art alone was enough to keep people interested, but now not only having even less creepy storylines but also changing the art, this has really put Yami Shibai into a hole that if another season is released, it will need to work to get out of.

Yami Shibai 2nd Season is obviously the seaon following it's prequel Yami Shibai. With these in mind, season 2 of Yami Shibai was completly lacking what was in the first season.
--STORY--
The stories in season 2 of Yami Shibai were not as scary nor creepy as the first season. I did not find myself getting as scared or feeling like I'm being watched from these episodes. The horro in the stories also didn't seem like it was all there.
--ART--
As usual, the art in Yami Shibai was very interesting and quite beautiful to look at. The effect of this art style adds to the whole creep factor
...
of the Yami Shibai stories, but even the art style was not enough to make me thoroughly enjoy this second installment.
--SOUND--
The sound in Yami Shibai is often what extends the creep factor beyond what it would normally be. The sounds in season 1 of this anime is what really creeped out. The evil laughs the slowly opening doors the sudden DUN whenever the monster would appear. And although some these sounds were cliche and typical they still managed to be creepy. Season 2 of Yami Shibai started to lack here and I feel they relyed more on the scare factor of the monsters then the actual idea of psychologially creeping someone out with subtle noises and visuals.
--CHARACTER--
I didn't feel as connected with the characters in this season then I did in the previous one. They didn't seem to be as interesting or as unbeknownst as the characters we have seen before.
--ENJOYMENT--
Although I didn't thourghly enjoy watching this anime I also didn't completly loathe it. There were still some episodes that managed to give me the scares and creep me out but overall, I didn't want to watch it as much as I did Yami Shibai season 1.
--FINAL THOUGHTS--
Considering the short nature of this anime and scares that some of the episodes do give, I feel as though if you watched and enjoyed the first season of Yami Shibai then you might as well watch this second installment. But, don't be expecting the same creeps that the first season gave.

Vampire Knight I feel like is one of those animes that some people will love and some people will hate on. I personally loved watching Vampire Knight. The actual aspects of the anime such as the story and characters may not be up to par with other animes but I definitley did enjoy watching it.
--STORY--
The story in Vampire Knight probably got a bit repetitive as the anime went on. There were a few times that something new and interesting got brought into the story but that was short lived as something occured to stop that extra story to bring the anime back to the regular,
...
reptitive storyline it had going. Even with these reptitive story line I still enjoyed it. I actually loved it and I cannot really explain why. But, I will say the story was not very productive throughout the season.
--ART--
The art style in this anime was really pretty and some of the characters were GORGOUS! Zero is my absolute favourite, he just always looked AMAZING! Kaname was also very good looking and Yuki was very cute. The brightness in the eye's of vampires and the overall art style was really nice and easy to look at and I thought the constant dark colours of the anime also really worked.
--SOUND--
Sound was something I didn't really pay attention to whilst watching Vampire Knight but from what I did the sound was fine. That's all I can really say on that. Although I can say that I really liked the voice acting for each of the characters and Kaname's voice was very calming in the way he always spoke so calmly and seemed like every word was a word of understanding.
--CHARACTER--
So some of the characters in Vampire Knight were great (not naming any names...ZERO) and then there were some that seemed generic and boring. I was hoping that Yuki (main female heroine) would be more of a badass then always having Zero and Kaname or someone there to help her. She has a cool weapon that she never uses. Zero was a great character and I could go on for hours about him so I am just going to stop there and Kaname seemed to get more mysterious and interesting as the season went on. I will be very interested to see how he turns out in the next season. All the other charcters seemed pretty generic with no specifically interesting qualities though.
--ENJOYMENT--
As I have already said, I really enojoyed Vampire Knight. Even if it is not counted as one of the best crafted anime out there, if I enjoyed then that's what matters.
--FINAL THOUGHTS--
Vampire Knight is a bit of your cheesy, romance, action but not really, vampire anime. It may have not had the best story or characters but it was extremly enjoyable for myself to watch and I would recommended it to most people, probably to be met with a judgy look but that's ok because Zero. :)
Zero is my bae <3

Yami Shibai was an anime like I haven't seen before. I only anime that I could possibly slightly comapre it to is Pet Shop of Horrors due to the way that it is set out with new characters and storylines each episode. It was a quick watch of horror which I could fit in to watch anywhere and get a little creeped out everytime.
--STORY--
The story was ok. Considering each episode goes for a duration of 5 minutes with a new story each episode there was not much room for development of a story. But that was not the point of this anime. It was just
...
a quick little horror story to give people a scare.
--ART--
I really liked the art style of this anime. It was completly different to most art styles in the way that it resembled a paper cut out and stop motion animation. Even with this simple art design, the anime still managed to look good and present scares. In fact, some of the scenes were probably even creepier being this type of art style.
--SOUND--
The sound was another main aspect of this anime. Some of the small creaks and cracks that this anime made really added to the tension and scares. The voice acting was really good and the sound the creepy beings made and the way they spoke made them even spookier.
--CHARACTER--
Much like the story, being such short episodes with new characters you could never really get to attached to chacters, but in retrospect you didn't need to. These characters were just experiencing something creepy and you didn't need to know their whole backstory. Enough was known about them in most of the epsiodes to know why they are where they are and what they will do about the circumstances which is all you need for this anime.
--ENJOYMENT--
I really enjoyed this anime and although I never got completly scared I can tell you 100% I go creeped out. Some of the stories and character designs were super creepy and haunting and there are few that I don't think I will ever forget.
--FINAL THOUGHTS--
Overall, I think this anime is a good one to watch if you are a fan of horror and just want something quick and creepy to watch. For storylines and character development watch something like Another but if all you want is a quick scare and can accept a different art design then I would recommend this.

Deadman Wonderland was a very interesting anime in it's concept. The whole premise of someone being wrongly accused and forced into a violent situation is not unused by any stretch of the means but the way that it incorperated other elements made the anime very unique. I also loved the opeing theme.
--STORY--
As I said before, the main story of this anime is a story that has been used many times before but it is still a very good plot. The whle idea of Deadman Wonderland and the idea of a theme park like it existing is very fasincating to think about and is really
...
interesting to see. I loved the idea of the powers in this anime which I won't say to much about but just that they were pretty cool. The way the powers fit into the plot as well with different characters was great. The premise of the "deadman" as well was a great.
--ART--
The art style of this anime was very nice. It looked really good and was clear. The bright colours of the characters, the powers and the theme park in itself I think really made it so that art style could really be reconginsed and admired.
--SOUND--
Sound in this anime seemed like quite an important thing with the park and the fighting with powers. The sound used for the powers was great and I think really fit in well and the music was great too. As I said before, the opening theme is really catchy as well. "i will be your deadman! with nothing but this blood on my hands, stuck in you wonderland!" uh it's great.
--CHARACTER--
Let's just talk about the characters in this anime. They all really fascinated me and I was interested in all of them. Shrio was a great character to get to know and seeing her storyline and that was seperate to the main storyline was some of the most interesting parts to me. (spoliers i think, idk just spoliers to be safe) Also, once you meet the deadman and the characters that are trying to keep the tamed or destroy them if need be, all those characters are really interesting.
--ENJOYMENT--
I actually really enjoyed this anime and I remember whenever I was at school I would be sitting in class just waiting to get home to watch the next episode and therefore I watched it in two nights. I also may have missed a few project deadlines for it but it was worth it!
--FINAL THOUGHTS--
Overall, I really liked this anime and found it very intriging, unique and interesting. The whole idea of a theme park and deadman is just so great and I really think they did well putting the storyline together. I am in fact trying to read the manga now to find out what happens as it interested me so much.

Angel Beats.. one of my favourite animes thus far. Angel Beats is an anime that gets a lot of praise throughout the anime community for being one of the best animes. It is very well known and most people who are resonably frequent anime viewers have seen it. For me, I loved this anime and thoughout it was just as good as people said it was. It may not be the best anime ever but in my own opinion there isn't a best anime ever but there certainly are amazing animes and Angle Beats is one of these.
--STORY--
The story was very interesting and was different
...
to anything I had seen. At first I was slighlty confused but by the end of the first episode I felt like I understood what was going on mainly. As the anime went on you discovered more about the place where the characters were, why they were doing what they were doing and why there were there which was always interesting to see.
--ART--
The art style in this anime was beautiful. It was so clear and colourful and the characters and sets looked really nice. I personally really liked this art style and found it very amazing to look at.
--SOUND--
The sound in this anime was also amzing. The voice acting was great and I was told that having an anime like this with english dub would be cringy but I could not disagree more. I loved the actors in both the english and the japanese. The sound of the weapons was also very good.
--CHARACTER--
I absolutly loved all the characters in Angel Beats. All of them had their own interesting storyline and perosonality which made them all loveable and relateable. One of my favourite characters was Yuri with how jumpy she was and how she could handle herself and had a very confident personality. Overall, the characters were all well thought out and interesing with their own flaws and lives.
--ENJOYMENT--
I really enjoyed this anime and could not stop watching. I watched the whole thing in one sitting without getting bored or uninterested during the whole 13 epsiodes. It was also one of the first animes I watched that made me feel real emotion and almost made me cry, almost. The tears started to come but they didn't. I felt really connected to each of the characters and each of their stories which I think made it all the more enjoyable. Also, with such an interesting story and such a pretty art style I just loved it.
--FINAL THOUGHTS--
Overall, I really enjoyed this anime and thought it was amazing. I loved the characters, the art, the story and everything. As I said before, I don't believe in a best anime and even if there is I'm sure for most people this would not count as the best anime but it is still ceratinly one of my favourites and I would 100% recommended to anyone, even people who don't regularly watch anime.

Death Note is one of the mainstream animes that people who start watching anime will typically try and avoid due to this case, but it is an anime that is mainstream for a reason. Many people have heard of it even if they do not watch anime and many people who don't watch anime have even seen it. For people who do not like anime and typically steer away from it quite often enjoy Death Note due to is fascinating characters and story line.
Death Note has an amazing story line that keeps people watching and keeps people needing to see what happens next. The characters
...
are all so well thought out and each have their own personality and so much detail has been put into each and every one of them.
L being my personal favourite, his voice, the way he looks at certain things, the way he sits and stands and eats and his whole persona in general is just an outstanding character to watch on screen. Light was another very interesting character. Seeing the way he changes as a person in just 37 episodes is quite amazing to see. Not only these two but all the other charcters are fascinating.
The art style is really nice to look at and the sound quality is quite good as well.
Overall, I really enjoyed this anime. Even if it took me longer to watch, when I was watching it it was very interesting and I would definitly recommend this anime to anyone who is just begining to watch anime.
