Let's start with the fact that this season is clearly overrated a 9,01 that's crazy nostalgia

Secondly the plot is honestly terrible
Quincy's were the one's who were wronged
Yet they are constantly treated as the villains even by Ichigo who usually is a neutral party this Arc just seems lazy writing at its best also to have Ichigo somehow fight and survive the literal definition of God when some other guy that could erase people's existence could not win and then Ichigo fight with 2 swords and gesuga an some how doesn't instantly die is plot armor ( yes I know it's how the almighty ... saw it play out) but even then the reason sounds like utter bs

Next power ups seem like bs you get a power up you get a power up you all get power ups really makes the point of "training" seem like an excuse for most characters to get strong enought to face the next big bad which is just lazy righting like we've seen Ichigo an friends go on an annoying amount of training arcs like it's gotten stale an boring basically the same thing as dragon Ball super


Also there are some plot holes in the animation like soul reapers legit flying even though they can't except toshiro


Is it just me or does anyone think it doesn't make sense that the soul King is responsible for all three realms yet we never hear or see if there was a time before he was the soul King to prove that he is indeed responsible for keeping all 3 together


Long story short the writing is mediocre the plot is mediocre world building is mediocre animation is like a 8/10 characters mediocre character development mediocre

I would still rate this 7/10 cause my nostalgia without that it's unwatchable
Only reason I haven't dropped it yet is the almighty and aizen
