Smile Precure!
|
Both features good comedy sense and some great action scenes. As Smile Precure is aimed at lower age, so it's much more "cleaner" in the choice of comedy templates and of course it has the usual transformation sequences which some boys may not like. But beside these, there are a lot of good episodes, full of funny and sometimes heart warming moments. To some extent it's contents resemble shounen manga.

Asobi ni Iku yo!

They share the same comedy + ecchi based story style Both have some missions and the actions are mainly performed by young female. Asobi ni Iku yo is more random. It is bundled with UFO & catgirl aliens, with a protagonist and a harem; while Aika is female centered with a secret mission to complete per series...

Kaidan Restaurant

Linked by Occult and Funny Kaidan restaurant typically would have 3 short occult stories per episode: The 2 main dishes vary in style and are often quite funny and a little bit scary. The last dessert is often more scary. Though kids oriented, the stories remain interesting for occult fans. Seikimatsu Occult Gakuin is more `gaggy` with better animation and plot. It has a lot of ideas in one main story: black magic, time traveling, supernatural power, aliens. Stuff happening in 1999 will be affecting human's future in 2012. I would approximate the ratio of entertainment to be 3:7

Les Misérables: Shoujo Cosette

Not that the genre or target audience is similar. Actually, although Les Miserables was made for kid's theater, I think it's indeed too heavy for the kids to understand the stress & strains. Anyway, if you are looking for melodramas which can drive your mood down low, to an extent which make you having difficulty to continue, Les Miserables first season & Kiminozo are good choices. Kimi ga nozomu Eien - romance & trauma victim & "Bizarre Love Triangle" Shoujo Cosette - the most unlucky girl (?), poverty & unfair society in the past

Barely linked by basketball show with some adventurous matches. Basquash has shown major improvement in graphics after so many years. But Slam Dunk dominates in story and entertainment. Basquash's style is a bit too childish despite some ecchi screens provided.

Mystery lovers may try this. The main attraction is the interesting story in real life. Psychos alert. Both are not as gore as Ryukishi07's works but do contain some degree of violence. And all 3 have some degree of supernatural components
