I loved this a lot. Amazing art, animation, sound, and story. Absolute banger ED, which hits me in the feels whenever each episode ends in an intense cliffhanger. You need to go watch this now.
The dynamic between the two main characters, Cheng Xiaoshi and Lu Guang. Cheng Xiaoshi is the type to let his emotions guide him, while Lu Guang tends to think more rationally, which makes the story really interesting because we get to see how two different people work together to complete a goal.
I know that many people don't want to watch this donghua because it's in Chinese. So the only
...
thing that's stopping you from watching is that it's not Japanese? That's so disappointing. It may take some time for your ears to adjust to Chinese, then you'll realize that you were dumb all along and that you can't even understand your anime without your English subtitles.
Well, anyways. Watch this if you love cliffhangers, time travel, mystery, suspense, heartwarming vibes, and a tearjerker.

First off, let me say that I'm so disappointed. 16 yr old with a 37 yr old? This girl is a whole minor. just plain weird and disgusting and it makes me sick. Not even a "good" story can make up for that. I can't understand how anyone would like this crap imo, and the fact that this manga especially highlights the fact that they have this specific age gap.
the age gap is practically the same as Donald Trump and Melania Trump's relationship, just pointing that out here, except it's just less by 3 years. Crazy, right?.
Ah, its such a shame, when this

I just couldn't get into it. I know that there's a lot of reviews here saying that it's great and stuff, but really, I just couldn't. I liked the first episode, not gonna lie, but the second episode was literally the same thing. The girl teases him, and he gets mad. That's it. Repeat. I tried looking into the 3rd ep, but it was just boring. Like the dude keeps saying that he's going to get her back, but does he actually get her back? No, LOL. yea, it reminds me of Tom and Jerry, this situation. Plus, the girl bullies him, which i do
...
not tolerate. Always getting him in trouble and distracting him from his education.
But to be honest, girl looks like a boiled egg. I had to point that out. That kind of annoys me a bit, but then again she's a middle schooler. Who looks like a 5 year old. Kind of weird, but okay. Plus the sexualization of little kids. ya'll noticed that? Bikinis, boobs, wet shirt, being naked, all that stuff, it makes me uncomfortable, especially for the girl. Yea, no. Just no. Imagine all those sweaty old people watching that?

Story: 8
So, this story is about a boy named Kei Nagai and he lives in a world where there are immortals humans called "Ajin". And of course, not much is known about them, so they're kind of mysterious. Plus, there are many videos floating around the internet where Ajins are wrapped in bandages, getting shot in the head over and over, but somehow they're alive (duh). So this kid, Kei, who is "if it doesn't affect me, I don't care" kind of guy gets his life completely turned around when he gets hit by a truck, dies, and comes back to life. Everyone around the
...
scene is in shock, dude gets a mental breakdown, and flees the scene. So basically, Kei is just living life at risk, trying not to get captured by the authorities.
I probably spilled a bit too much here, but it's all in the first episode. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ I have to say. It's a pretty interesting plot, ngl. Though I've seen probably a manhwa that literally has something similar to this. But, as interesting it is, the story kind of just dies down near the end and is left with a cliff hanger. Not too fond of that, but the start makes up for it.
Art: 7:
When I first watched the episodes, I was shocked because I never saw an anime that had this 3d style animation. Like it looks hand drawn but at the same time, it looks animated. I didn't like it too much back then, but after you watch more of it, you get used to it (Like annoying Asta in Black Clover and annoying Hinata in Haikyuu). And now I think it suits the anime very well and gives it's uniqueness.
Sound: 9
I'm not sure if the "sound" category is only limited to anime openings and endings, but I give this 9 for the sound effects. Dang. When the those black ghosts fight, those hits are freaking mind breaking (yes it broke my mind). It sounds like when you accidentally hit your head on a wall and you're having a concussion-ish side effects (i'm not sure because i never had one but- wait I DON'T RECCOMMENED ANYONE TO GIVE THEMSELVES BRAIN DAMAGE DON'T DO IT!)
Character: 6
Kei: It seems like he always has some kind of attitude issues and mental problems. Like one day he seems like a good person, the next he's out there to kill people, as if he's lost his sense of humanity. He is definitely giving me walmart Eren vibes. And what I mean by walmart Eren is that he's really confusing. Like, what is his goal? I really wanted him be be like the "nice" Ajin but seems like he won't be like that.
Eriko:
She annoyed me a lot ngl. But I see why she feels a bit indifferent towards Kei, he's a total jerk.
Kaito:
Just some blondie who really likes the concept of "friends". I feel like he's romanticizing it way too much. Kaito is like "i did that because you're my friend". That whole, what ever it is, is not giving him justice. He needs to be more of a 3 dimensional character.
Sato:
Sato, I'd say is the best out of all of the characters here. That is because when i first saw him, I though he was going to be this kind of, peaceful mentor that is trying to fight and give justice to Ajins, but he turned out to be a literal sadistic psycho who kills for entertainment.
Tosaki:
Didn't really like him. Don't really care about his "almost decomposing" fiance. Okay maybe I went too far. It's just that, his personality sucks. I want him to have more development. I want him to see Ajins in a new light. Probably won't happen because right now, Ajins are not showing society that they're "humans too".
Overall: 8
It was good. First anime that I actually enjoyed quite a bit. I think what makes me like this anime is the plot. I like the plot. The characters, not so much. But the plot makes up for it. Or am I saying this incorrectly? I like the general main idea of the story. I just wish they would've developed it better.

I'm genuinely disgusted and horrified. Boy tried to freaking rape her and gave her trauma from all of the bullying and harassment! I done with this crap piece of trash. The author seriously needs some help. I hope my girl finds a better man who actually respects her. And this whole school is trash. F them.
I can't believe people actually find this manga okay. What's so romantic about some dude who tries to manipulate you so he could touch your private parts? Seriously. I'm just so disgusted. And female lead actually think he's a good person just because he's hot and did something "good" for
...
her. Burh, in reality, she was just playing right into his damn trap.

A few chapters in.. and I'm not really sure how to think.
But I love the androgynous look on female lead! It’s so cute too. But I feel like the author keeps on using “prince” too much, like it’s an actual official title for a person. Why does FL care if she’s getting with another “prince”? And the male lead seems sketchy too. If I were her, I would’ve seen him as a pervert. Who even the hell even says that? “I saw your appeal as a girl so I like you”. The-
Yeah. Nope.. But whatever. Let's see how this turns out. Right now what
...
I'm getting from this manga is just the word "model". They could be literal MODELS because they looks so pretty. Damn. Wish I looked like that.

I might get hate for this but do I care? No? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Story: 4
It's a mess, I gotta tell you. Haruhi over here breaks the host club's freaking vase/antique and she has a whole lotta debt to pay off to those boys. Like what? The ouran host club, I'm pretty sure is, funded by the private school. So she is technically not in debt to THEM but to the school, but they kind of just forced her in there. I didn't really pay attention so I don't know. Maybe Tamaki has that much of an influence on that school? But anyways, blondie, the leader, otherwise known
...
as Tamaki makes her join the host club where girls simp over handsome men, to pay off her debt, and little do they know, SHE's A GIRL. So shocking. Really it's not. Yea so basically, she's part of this host club, pretending to be a male, and girls simp n crap. Literally nothing to that then just that. But they also harass her too as well. Which I am going to explain later.
Art: 5
It's pretty old school. Not that appealing to me. Especially Haruhi in that skirt and bangs. Is that attractive to yall?
Sound: 5
The sound was alright.
Character: 3
Tamaki: Even though he is surrounded by girls, he's so protective and obsessive over Haruhi, especially after he found out that she's a girl. Like what's the big deal? She's just a girl. But he acts like he's never seen tits and cheeks when he's with her. And he's always pressuring her to wear feminine clothes cuz "she's a girl". And is always protective of her cuz "she's a girl" and as if she's some special person who shouldn't have her gender revealed because men are going to devour her. And he goes crazy when she looks feminine for once. Plus when Haruhi reveals she's scared of thunder, he's seems to be finding enjoyment from that, because he finally sees her acting like a stereotypical girl. Bruh no. Let a girl chill for once, you're disturbing. and the fact that he's always trying to get her to fall in love her.. Ew.
The Twins:
Really? Acting gay towards each other to gain popularity. I can't with this promotion of incest crap. They're not even gay but they have to act gay to win girl's hearts. That's the dumbest thing I've seen all day. All year. All time. Being gay is not something to find entertainment from.
Kyouya:
i thought he was supposed to be the most normal person in this show, but guess not. Boy really tried to freaking sexually harass her for 10 seconds and then stopped and called it a day. And it was an act? the heck? I was so confused. How is that supposed to be an act? Like no one does that to their friends wth. And also, the fact that he gives the others freaking pictures of Haruhi in middle school is terrifying for me. Like Tamaki is already crazy, why are you trying to fuel him up?????
blondie:
Sorry, forgot the little guy's name. He likes candy and acts like a baby I guess? Imagine he's still sucking his thumb when he's thirty.
Enjoyment: 4
Its all of the stereotypes in this for me. I did not like it at all. Like there was no damn point for this. Even though people love it since it's a "classic", but does not mean that its 100% good. But excusing all of its problems, the only thing I like about it was when the ouran host club helped people in that one episode to "show that they're not just there to entertain thirsty girls". But then they reverted back to their old crappy selves.
Overall: 3
It's a meh. I don't like it.

What a mess. A lesbian girl gets tricked into going to an all-boys school by her mother so her daughter would un-lesbianify. Basically her mom is hoping her gayness would vanish by sending her to that school. Really dumb and homophobic. Like is this even worth the read (no cuz I skipped) but yea then it says that she actually has a trauma so she hates guys (the heck).
*SPOILERS* At the end, after 10 chapters of boring backstories, she freaking gets with the shortie who is a guy, which I saw from a mile away.
I really don't know what was going on in
...
the author's thinking that actual people would find it interesting if a lesbian likes a boy. Like the heck? This is way worse than those manga with freaking chicks who don't care about love then suddenly realizing that this hot dude makes their heart pound. Don’t read this.

Story:
Basically about a really pretty and popular girl who sort of developed a liking to this weird kid that nobody even pays attention to. To be honest, it was tiring a bit because the whole plot was mostly about her crushing over this kid but in denial, cause he's a nobody and she's popular. And when she finally realizes she likes him, she tries to catch his attention and talk to him. But he always "ignores" her accidentally in every single situation he is in with her, and it becomes a running gag that happens OVER and OVER.
Art:
The was pretty good. I think
...
Erika is cute but, my man Kuzumi, however, he looks like a frog and for me, he isn't that appealing. But he's not ugly, and he looks average, which I think suits him because he's supposed to be some nobody (not trying to be offensive but the offense probably has been taken already).
Character:
Kuzumi doesn't talk much in this manga, and when I say that, he doesn't. He only says one phrase after 10 chapters, and then 20-30 chapters later, he says something again. At some points, I was even considering that he just doesn't even know who the heck Erika is at all. And when he finally asks Erika out, I can't seem to find a reason why he likes her since he doesn't react that much around her. Even with his thoughts revealed near the end, still no clue. What I got from him was that he liked how she looked when she blushed at him. I mean, that's on me, I guess.
Erika, for me, she's a decent character. But her character is just based off of how she's really pretty, and I didn't learn much about her personally. Like, what are her hobbies and interests besides stalking Kuzumi?. I'm really surprised how she's that persistent. If I was that ignored for so long, I would've given up on that person already.
Enjoyment:
It was ok. Her awkwardness and denial towards her liking Kuzumi were entertaining.
Overall:
If you want to read a cute story, then this is for you. But if you can't stand the slow pacing, like me, this is probably not for you. Yea. I just didn't like how it took freaking a whole 40 chapters for the tea to actually happen.
ok bye now. Happy new years! 1/1/21

So this is my first ever review, so be ready ;)
Story: 4
This manga is about a girl who is VERY pretty and usually gets a lot of unwanted attention from boys because of her looks. Because of that, she grew to be a shy and quiet person. In high school, she meets this quiet boy who doesn't make a big deal out of her looks, and she develops an interest in him.
To be honest, this story is a meh. It is so god dang slow and there isn't much juicy parts except a few blushes and that's that. You have to read A LOT
...
chapters until the romance actually starts. By then, I would have already dropped it. If you don't like slow paced shoujo mangas, then this one is not for you.
Art: 8
The art is really good. And that's the only good thing about it. (Sorry to break it to you)
Character: 3
Usually, when I read manga or watch anime, the characters are the 2nd most important part. The characters here were pretty boring. The female MC's only major thing about her is that she's shy. I would've like it WAY better if she'd actually grow out of her shyness and have some character development. But I know that these kind of things are very hard to overcome, especially for some people, so I get that. But she was just plain boring. You can't have a good story without dialogue. She just sits there and acts pretty. The male MC, he was boring as well. I don't understand why he is considered "shy", cause for one thing for sure, he talks way more than your average shy person.
Enjoyment 4:
I didn't really enjoy it that much, since it was slow, and it wasn't interesting at all.
Overall: 4
This was just bad. It's just a manga that I would ditch anytime.
