Both are very negative and depressing animes. The main protagonist in both animes are normal ordinary individuals who become leaders and always find a way to survive.

both have very laugh out loud characters in Miu and Torako... and they are both voiced by the same person

both animes are from the 90's hence they have the same art style. both main characters are delinquents trying to change to be good. they are very funny and memorable characters and will make you come back for more.

same ecchi comedy anime. both female leads have this weird sign in their foreheads. they are also both pretty identical in personality and both want to learn earth's way of living.

same art style and same atmosphere. both are a little mysterious because Haibane Renmei deals with angels while Niea Under 7 deals with aliens. Both also deal with human behavior and such. Niea Under 7 is like the comedy and less serious version of Haibane Renmei in my opinion.

both are set in the 1920's. They feel similar with the robots and steam and other stuff.

Both have same art styles, violence and very random humor. Both have sex innuendos but Ebichu takes it to the next level. Sexy Commando has more random scenes and can be considered "tame" compared to Ebichu.

Both are comedy anime with no real plots. The episodes are very random. While Azumanga takes place in a normal school, Shinobuden takes place in a ninja school.

both have a unique style of animation and both have over the top humor. These are the kinds of animes that you don't take seriously and are best enjoyed watching with friends while getting wasted. :)

I had the same feeling while watching these animes. both have dark and slow moving stories. While Hitsuji no Uta had kind of like a vampire mystery feel to it, Cossette had this gothic and ghost mystery feel. great animes for the goths and vampire lovers out there.

While Eureka Seven takes place on earth and in the skies and has flying and gliding mechas, Mars Daybreak takes place obviously on mars and not so obviously underwater with mechas able to function underwater. Both shows are about a young boy who joins an organization and live in a ship. Both organizations are famous and have something to do with the government.

Both have not so beautiful animation. Both are about a school club doing stupid things. Both have exaggerated humor and both gave me a good laugh.

both shows got me in the end. While watching both I thought I knew what was going on and thought I had it all figured out. Then BOOM!!! Near the end of both shows I was just like wtf?! what happened??? it got me thinking and made me appreciate the great stories of both shows.
