First thing that comes to mind is: They don't make shonen like this anymore.
I absolutely love how each character gets their moment to shine, the bombastic 'fist-fight god' moment while everyone cheers for the protagonist, and the ending tying everything together. I recognize a lot of inspiration in other shows coming from it, but FMA Brotherhood just feels right. I'm glad I watched it now and not when I was getting into anime because I think only now am I ready to fully appreciate it.
