Am i the only one who went to check if this was a second season of an anime already aired? I got so confused watching this, being thrown into a story with an emotional dead MC, with OP powers.

The first episode fits none of the required labels a story must have imo: Introduction of the character (Not there, he's already OP and everybody knows who he is except the viewer), World building (Maybe a really rough outline but not clear), Interesting main characters (This is personal but i HATED all commercial slime anime's that gets pumped out + Main character boring outfit, boring hair, ... boring personality and feels depressed all the time).

Why do i care when this city gets attacked? They haven't even introduced me to the city or the ambiance, we see a couple of seconds of city backdrop with a name. So how are we emotionally bonded to it? we aren't, we also don't care about the MC yet. Why do his slimes talk? Why so many character introductions but no depth?? I constantly feel like i'm missing the context.

It's doesn't have a hook, it doesn't have context. Not enough to keep me interested atleast. The fights are boring, the color palette is boring, the animals are not really interesting either. Yeah i'm dropping this i can't watch this.

Did i just have a stroke? Why in the f*** is this considered Anime in the first place. Who in their right mind would add this to the database.

What i just watched was worse than that one time i took 2 tabs and got lost in a train, thinking it was the abdomen of a worm. I think i can never sleep again after seeing this. I wish i could sue the creator of this for traumatic experience induced PTSD.

The couple of seconds of the black tentacle was enough to make me cry. "PRease prease strike me" made me gag so loud that my neighbour ... called the ambulance because she thought i was choking to death. And honestly i wish i was.

This anime starts out... weird. Somehow even though it was very weird it captivated me and somehow made me keep watching it. To be honest i was a bit shocked after some things turned almost 'BL'. (I was not expecting that, i thought it would just be a detective kind of story.)

Due to that suprising fact it made me keep watching even more and fortunately after a weak start of the anime, it made me super interested in continueing to watch. The lore behind this was more than expected, even some small plot twists already.

I certainly can understand if someone dislikes these tyoes of anime's ... but i recommend you watch atleast 5 episodes before you create a conclusion or review.

I think the story is really good even though the anime did not have a good start or introduction. The relationship between the characters are quiestionable but from someone with experience in toxic relationships it was also very interesting to see things from an outsiders perspective. Many people do not understand my take but the relationship the main duo have actually pulled on some of my heart strings and it was somehow very relatable what happens between them.

I was about to dump this anime due to the artstyle being mediocre and me not understanding how a weird encounter can be a good story; but i gave it a chance and i can not wait till the next episodes come out, really.

I don't write many reviews but after seeing hoe people already had formed a solid opinion after only 4 episodes i decided i had to chip in my opinion.

It is definitly a recommendation if you can see it from a comedy mystery side instead of watching it very seriously. The graphics may be lower than your run-off-the-mill anime blockbuster, but it is the lore and the story that counts.

I think it is a very creative story and a very creative concept. It makes me laugh every episode.

EDIT: i found this anime by accident on a streaming site, i never saw tags i only read the synopsis hence why i didn't know it was BL too

Somehow i really can't finish this anime. The thing that is throwing me off is that they all look the same age. The voices don't match the characters for me and i cannot focus on the story because there is too much "unique artstyle" going on mixed with 3D backgrounds.

The one thing i wanna say positively is the lighting and use of colors is something i really really liked. If they wouldve stuck to drawn background and bigger use of lining maybe that would make the setting be really good.

Apart from them all looking 16-ish, this felt too much of a mash-up new school ... ova where you grab a bunch of brainstormed artwork and create a story out of it. I don't like the random choice of music... It doesn't fit the tone, it also seems just there for the sake of artsy.

To clarify, anime to me has to be a good story telling and good described scenes/characters even if they have no strong character background. Episode one is already giving me so much information including the weird artstyle that i can't keep up. I dropped it at the 4th episode. The superpowers they have, to put it blunt, look like PNG's placed onto drawn artwork while their enviroment is 3D.

I'm sorry but if you are not into new school art projects, this is not for you.

I don't say this often but i really enjoyed every single episode of this anime, seriously. I didn't wanna give it a shot at first because it was on netflix and it was a genre i never really explored but i have to say that i really underestimated the story AND the art.

The art, amazing! Those colorschemes are new, refreshing and i love them! I am colorblind and most anime have the same palette for me which is often hard to see and details are missed but in the way this is colored i could see almost every detail very clearly and being a ... tritan, i got very happy seeing so much bold pink and blue.

There is some Engrish but it's done on purpose and made me laugh very much. So much inclusivity and diversity of skin tone and background. The characters are very thought out and all have great personalities that are not centered around a thrope.

Also the anime has some taboo topics, especially for japan and i have to give kudos for that! And on another note, i cried in the last episode because i was really sad that the second season was over. I do wish i could have seen some more of Dorothy, i hope they make a 3rd season.

Concept showed a huge potential but they ruined it for me.To be fair i like a lot of disliked anime's but this one was a flop for me. Also i fell asleep during third episode so i'm not counting that as watched.

A 30-year old with memories in an isekai rebirth is an Op magic user who can never master any magic but is better than anyone else and in a childs body. Oh btw, he blushes as another 10 year old girl falls on his lap. Naw dawg this lolicon lookin ass is just jailbaiting and everyone watching for more than 4 episodes is stuck ... on the fbi watchlist.

The art sucks, the characters really aren't that deep and the closing song sucked major balls trying to include engrish.
This couldve been so much better to make it so he wasn't 10 years old, not Op, a better coverstory and more "before the isekai" flashback scenes.

A popular anime, Detective, murder and psychological play. In my opinion this was a really interesting anime with many dynamics as to why. The anime starts off quick. What i mean by that is that the story starts quickly paced and follows the distress and line of thinking of MC.

Death note has many concepts of demonology, emotional psychological play and pieces of "real life" where detectives look for a murderer. The way the notebook itself is invented was for me something i had never seen. This anime was the first time that i even thought of the existence of a Death Note.

However, after a ... while it gets very slow paced for me. The action and thrill get less and it gets overshadowed by lots and lots of talking and thinking. I get bored by words and things i don't understand but i forced myself to finish it.
So if your attention span isn't really hyperfocused, i wouldn't recommend binge watching it. Give yourself time to process the episodes otherwise you miss pieces of information.

Overall very good anime!

There are so many reviews out here bashing the anime, bashing OP MC's but I for one really enjoyed it. Anyways, this was a very enjoyable anime, thropes yes but it felt more like a satirical twist to thropes with in itself a good story.

I love history and supernatural, this had a sort of greek titan battle feel with mature main characters who are smarter/wittier than others. The Main mc's are wounded, it shows but that's good. they have flaws in emotions rather than execution of power. They hold back, they learn others when they are mistaken and only try to recreate what once their ... main goal was.

It is actually very wholesome! The demon king was kind, learned from his mistakes from the past and obliterates the extra annoying thrope characters in a school battle. The anime was pretty emotional too, it had betrayal, sadness, trauma, inside jokes and logical world building.

I loved it.

I used to be excited to watch this, the art style is good and the storyline is okay for a slice-of-life with a twist. However for some reason i couldn't get my full attention to this anime and it just wasn't as gripping as other stories.

I do really appreachiate the "cross-dressing" value, giving light to many different LGBT issues. It's good if you want to experience some a funny inclusive anime with a general slice of life story behind it.

Fanservice (8/10)
Male fanservice for Femboys/Crossdressing and Traps are often overlooked, however i think Himegoto does give a good fanservice representation. Some ... of the fanservice was more comedic though.

Characters (5/10)
I gave them a mediocre score due to the Protagonist being "okay" however, the characters surrounding them are easily forgettable for me. They don't hold much value in the story from my perspective and honestly i can't remember their names.
