This is my favorite manga I've read so far. Kanako is relentlessly optimistic, while simultaneously getting stressed out at times. That intense dynamic makes following her story fun because you never know what kind of reaction she's going to have to the situations she finds herself in. Kanako is always making animal related puns when she gets stressed, which is my favorite part about this manga. The premise itself is ridiculous, which I like. This one is just so ridiculous. I think I'll be saying this a lot in my reviews: it's so bad it's good. I love it when a film manages to do that. The characters are mostly one dimensional. It's a great watch if you're looking for something that's kind of mindless and doesn't always make much sense. What others are calling fan service made me a little uncomfortable, but that's also something that I like. The token male character is a total creep and he's always trying to peek on the girls in the locker room. That is the worst part about this anime.

This anime has great music. It also has great art and a silly feel to it. I think that silliness is what a viewer should expect out of a school romance anime. The characters are all really funny.

The side characters got some development, but the lack of resolution for all of them causes their development to fall flat. Izumi is one of the title characters of the anime, yet you never really get much development out of him. His gloomy background is glossed over, and there is never really any mention of his parents which takes away from the immersion. I imagine if a ...
