To start off, Zom 100's first episode has to be one of the best starts to an anime ive seen yet, caught me by surprise. If it was a one-off i would've giving it a 10, watching it will make you at least give this series a chance.
Continuing, Zom 100 goes from crazy to serious a lot of times. It's all over the place, especially at the start, but most of the time they do it nicely. The suspense complemented with the smooth animation makes you feel like you’re in a movie, i haven't even mentioned the best part of this series yet, which would ... be the Themes. Now that ive talked about the crazy part of the anime, i'll focus on my favorite part, Zom 100 knows how to tackle serious subjects. The personal troubles the characters face, their reactions and solutions are truly fresh to see, a zombie apocalypse is an idea so old but they twisted it in a way to make it fresh, the messages in this anime are truly amazing, the main characters are what we should strive to be and do.

Now that ive talked about everything i liked about Zom 100, heres some negatives i can't ignore, i'll start off by the comedy. Of course, comedy is subjective, so you may like the parts i didn’t, but for some parts were too silly or stupid. Also, the timing, especially at the start, of these silly moments aren't the best, i will not give examples because then i'll spoil the story. This doesn’t mean I didn’t find parts funny, It was generally good. That is all my criticism.

All in all, Zom 100 is crazy fun to watch and actually profound sometimes, with silly moments in between. The themes and lessons are the best parts of this series.
I truly can't complain much of this series, it gives the zombie apocalypse genre a breath of fresh air. It is different and out there!
