I have to say it has been some time since I got so engrossed in a story. One my friends recommended me this show and wouldn't shut up about it and how I needed to watch it. I have to hand it to her, she was completely right. I got so hooked I even had to go and read the manga because I was so anxious to know what happened after the last episode.
The story is fresh and new, mixing horror with comedy quite well. Each episode is a surprise, constantly leaving on the edge of your seat.
The art is good, not outstanding but good
...
enough to match the story.
The opening theme is great. It's by one of my favourite Japanese bands, UVERworld. The sound effects really add to all the drama.
It's been a while since I watched something with such good character development. You really grow with the main protagonist and you get the "feels" for all of them. Even the bad ones.
I can't wait for next season.

I'm still not sure about what I just watched. I've been going through the anime's that Netflix is showing and so far this is the worst one.
The premise seems interesting, with the legendary weapons being inside a person and that said person fighting with the weapon and themselves for control. Once you lose control you go into Busoma state and that means you're finished, you are no longer human and the weapon took over completely.
However the actual show does not deliver, there is no character development, the MC is a little ass and makes you hate him from the beginning. The other "weapons"
...
just randomly appear with no context and no explanation. The rest of the characters are introduced in an episode to never be heard from again. Honestly I watched everything and I still don't know where this was supposed to go.
The art is good but nothing over the top, and the sound is completely off, doesn't connect well at all. I wish they could have provided something better, since it looked so interesting at first. What a let down.

I stumbled across B: the Beginning on Netflix, I've been trying to give their anime's a chance, almost gave up after Devilman: Craybaby, but saw the trailer for this one, the story seamed interesting and the animation solid.
The art here is by far best thing about the show. It's fluid, dark, the fight sequences, the lettering in the screen, all simply amazing.
The story is intriguing and keeps you connected. You want to know what will happen. At first there seems to be two different subplots that in the end are related to each other.
The charterers are easy to like and Keith is your
...
cool, super intelligent detective that is back after a long absence.
I really liked the mix of thriller and supernatural in this anime. I believe the plot was well organized and explained and I really hope we will have a second season.
I would recommend to give a it a try, specially if you also liked Witch Hunter Robin, Psyco Pass and other darker toned animes.

I was really intrigued by the title of this anime. Joker Game seemed like a interesting way of calling a show based on deception.
The story happens during the years leading to the Second World War, where Japan starts to feel left out of all the spying games going on in the west. In order to change this Lieutenant Colonel Yuuki creates the D-Agency. The premise is great, the three first episodes really set a nice pace, but on the forth one we start to have a episodic type of show, and that surprised me a lot. As I came to find out as I
...
watched the show, we are introduced to each of the agency spies while they go on their own missions and the only link between most episodes is the founder of the Agency.
Don't get me wrong it was nice to know all of these characters and understand what meant to be a spy for each of them, how they operate and how far they are willing to go, but at the same time it felt like the show lost the plot line that was being created in the begging. Maybe that was intentional, maybe not, I don't know but I lost sight of what was going on, and that happened often.
Joker Game has also a very serious tone. Everything is taken very seriously and as realistic as possible. You can feel that there was a lot of research into this particular time in history to make the show as accurate as it could be. The art and music are exceptional and probably the best about the show, helping with the serious atmosphere it wants to present.
I feel the plot could have been better developed in a way wherel there was a begging, a middle and an end, then again maybe it's not the end, I would watch a second season in the hopes of knowing more about the agency and it's operations. I also think there could have been more character development. Even though we are introduced to the spies almost one by one we don't get to know what motivated them to join the agency or anything about their past. The only exception to this is Yuuki.
On the bright side, like I said before the art is amazing, including the character design, everything fits perfectly withe the tone of the show.
The sound also plays a great part, inviting you to dive in to each scene. The OP and ED are very catchy and mix well with all the rest.
Overall I enjoyed it and would definitely recommend it to others, specially if you are a fan of crime/mind games/spies/ political and more mature kind of series.

KHR is quite the underrated anime. I have to say it took me a long time to start watching it and I had to start several times because the first episodes are quite boring, but once you pass that it gets really good.
The story is a bit different then usual, we do have the typical Shonen protagonist, week that gets stronger with the training, but the Mafia setting gives a different edge to the story. Specially when you start to understand the Family and what it stands for. That was one of the points that made me keep watching. The bad part was that it
...
took a while to get there.
The art starts as generic but it gets better when you start to enter the action parts of the series. The fighting scenes are good animated. I absolutely love Yamamoto's fights. They were the best for me.
The sound is also one the points that make the anime very good. The openings are very catchy and stay in your head. The background music also ads to each scene and during the fights it's really good.
The characters can be enjoyed as a whole, like the story says its about a Mafia family so they are all very close and you see that bound develop as you watch the show. I love how each of them represent a element or specific characteristic. Tsuna is the sun, Yamamoto the calm, Gokudera the storm and so on. I couldn't stand Tsuna at the beginning, but after his first fight you see that he's a bad ass Mafia Boss when he needs to.
I really liked this show. The only problem was the slow pace in the beginning and sometimes between arcs where they would put fillers or summary episodes. I'm quite sad that they didn't continue with it, because the manga continued for some time more. I'll have to check it to see how it ends.
Overall I would recommend this to any fan of anime or if you want some action with a nice story. Just stay strong for those 20 something episodes in the beginning and after that you are in for a treat.

This will be a review for S1 and S2, since I watched this as a whole. There might be some spoilers so you are warned.
Other point before I start is that my review is based only on the anime versions, I never read any of the VN or played the games related to the Fate universe. That being so, let's start.
I have to say that during the time I was watching this I was really hooked to it, I watched it all almost in one go, and I liked so much that I gave it a 9/10 score.
At the time that I'm writing this
...
review it's been some months, and I have to say that now I would lower my score to a 7/10 just because there are moments in the story that are quite forgetful. That's not what you want from a great anime.
The story leads us to a world where everything is set in motion for the Holy Grail War, we have our main character Emiya Shirou, a high school student that is somehow dragged into this world of magic and servants. There are seven masters for seven servants from seven different classes: Saber, Archer, Lancer, Rider, Caster, Assassin and Berserker. Each of the seven masters will fight each other in order to gain the Holy Grail. Shirou, however is the type of selfless person that makes a lot of mistakes and puts himself in danger when there were other ways of dealing with the problems, he want to be the hero of justice and that's great and all, but sometimes he's just stupid. That is what happens in most of S1, Shirou doing everything he can to save everyone, bu putting everyone in danger.
S2 I have to say that I really liked the way it turned out. In this season there is a big twist regarding Archer, that somehow made this into a great show for me. That was a surprise and the one thing i will remember from this show.
I was a great ending and just for that I would recommend it.
The art is just amazing, it's really really good, specially in the fight scenes. The backgrounds are detailed and always add to the feeling of the show. The animation if fluid, the colors are on point, really nothing bad to say here. The fight scenes are just amazing, probably the best ones I've seen in a long time.
The sound is quite good also. The opening of S1 is very good, usually I skip the Op, but I was listening to this one. The Eds are not so memorable, but still in accordance to the show.
The background music was also very good, adding to the feeling of the story.
The characters are the difficult part here, since the most memorable ones are not the main ones. Emiya Shirou and Thonsaka Rin are our main characters, I liked Rin in the beginning, she looked like a strong and independent girl that could handle herself well, but after some interaction with Shirou she starts to feel more like a damsel in distress then what I though.
For me the best characters are Saber and Archer, specially Archer, he really comes a long way, and in the end is the main protagonist in this whole story, at least in my opinion. Saber is Shirou's Servant and she's a bad ass. Like Archer, she's the one that ends up doing everything to save the masters in distress.
The other Servants are also very good, just wished there was more development there. Also from the other masters.
I really enjoyed the show, it's a nice take on good vs evil, and on how to keep sacrificing yourself for other leads to people taking advantage of you. I would recommend Fate/stay nigh Unlimited blade works to fans of this genre, if you like good animated fights and if you like anime that have a ending, as in you feel like it's over.

Prison School is an Epic Troll anime. It's one of those cases where the everything is so stupid that it's hilarious.
The plot is quite simple, but well developed. In each episode there is something new happening and you can see and feel things evolving. The comedy and ecchi genres fit well together to create great moments in the show.
The art is great and it contributes a lot to the comical part of the show. The characters faces can be dead serious and its still going to be funny. In my opinion is the best feature of the show along with the sound that also helps
...
a lot to the funny moments. The opening is great and funny and the animation sequence also portraits well the dark humorous feeling of the anime. The ending is lighter but still enjoyable.
The characters are all funny in their own way. You have horny, nerdy, masochist, hot shot sports guy and the quiet ant lover. They are all unique and hilarious, contributing a lot to the development of the story. The girls are all well managed even though I didn't quite like how they were portrayed sometimes, I still found the irony in it and for me it was a lot of fun to watch them "battle" the boys.
I really like this type of dark humor/irony anime so I enjoyed this a lot. It might not be for everyone though. It's quite sexual and there are a lot of dirty jokes that need an open mind to understand them. In the end I liked it because It made me laugh a lot, and not small shy laugh but the hysterical ones where I had to pause to compose myself. I guess I find stupidity funny. And this is one of the most stupid shows of all time.

First of all: Why did I wait so long to watch this?
I don't know..it's been in my computer for ages now...baka me.
It's a great piece of work that everyone should watch.
It completely blew me away with the amazing animation and sound track.
Ok so first the story. It's a romance as you may know, but what I like about it is that it feel real. It feels like something that could happen in our world and it probably did. We have real characters with real problems and we see the real miracles that happen every day, that sometimes we don't notice, like the beauty of snow
...
or a great piano performance.
The art is simply amazing. There is nothing to explain, it's just that good. The colors are so perfectly used to convey the feelings of the characters that it blew me away.
The music/sound is also perfect. I loved every performance and the soundtrack was always on point working with the art to convey the feelings of the show. I was crying to some of the performances because they moved me so much.
The characters are well developed, specially Kosey and Kaori, but even the supporting ones have their screen time and help the plot to progress.
I found it very enjoyable, and like I said in the beginning my regret is not watching it sooner. It's definitively one of the best in its genre. My only low point would be the pace sometimes being a bit slow. It also has great comedy moments, which ads to it. In one episode you can go from laughing to tears to crying your eyes out because the moment was so sad. It's an emotional roller-coaster this anime, and I really liked that.
Overall, it's really word watching. Specially if you're tired of all the typical romance anime out there. Like I was. It was a breath of fresh air for me and made me want to watch romance anime again.

hello,
What to say about Ookami Shoujo to Kuro Ouji?!
I was a bit disappointed I have to say.
Story: 6/10
It's very basic one. The girl wants to make friends, so she lies about pretty much everything in her life, and this includes the "boyfriend" that she does not have. Things progress and the boy she was claiming to be going out with is a student in her school. When she explains the situation he is ready to help, but not for good reasons. He wants to have fun and he's way of doing so is to treat our "hero" like a dog.
It sometimes borders on the indecency,
...
and I kept asking myself why would someone do this just to fit in somewhere.
It has some comic parts and as the story goes there is some developments so it does get better.
It's easy to watch, and most people can enjoy it I guess. I did, it's not a masterpiece but I've seen worst.
Art:7/10
The art is good, the colors fit well with story and with the Shoujo theme. The character design is also good. The leading male has the cool style usually used in this type of anime and the leading girl the same.
It's one of the best points.
Sound:6/10
Like most about this anime, the sound is neither good or bad. The opening and ending are catchy and funny, but nothing too special.
The music during the episodes the same. There is no real use there.
Character: 6/10
Yeah this is the hard part. In the beginning of the story the characters have both such a bad character that it leaves you wondering a bit about the whole concept for the series. But don't worry they do somehow evolve in a good way. Erika is a compulsive liar and Kyouya a sadist that only wanted a dog. Somehow she likes his personality and makes her life goal to go from "the dog" to proper girlfriend. In the end they do understand each other. Erika becomes a lot stronger and determined and Kyouya becomes kinder and understanding.
Enjoyment: 6/10
Personally it was hard for me to see the beginning. It felt like their relationship wasn't going anywhere. But has it progressed I did like and I still recommend it, if you have nothing better to watch it is fairly good.
I think most people will like it. It's easy going, funny and at times adorable.
Thanks :D

I can not express how happy I am that I stumbled across Haikyuu!!
It's really incredible how everything connects well into almost perfection.
The story is simple but at the same time manages to hook you up. I ended up making a all nighter just to finish it. The characters are so well developed and alluring that I found myself almost screaming every time they succeeded or crying when they didn't. In contrast with many of the sports anime out there, Haykyuu is real. It shows the reality of training everyday, of victory and defeat. As a former athlete I could relate to all the experiences
...
mentioned in the show.
In my humble opinion the art is amazing. The way the movements flow is great, being volleyball a fast paced sport, the animators managed to show that quite well and without losing quality. Can't really say much more. It's that good.
The sound works very well with the animation and the story, complementing the scenes that don't have any talking characters and adding to the dramatic or fanny moments. The openings and endings are catchy specially the first opening and the second ending! :D
I really liked the show, I felt like I was in my competition days again. It's real and it's funny.
Definitely a must watch.
Hope that if you read this you'll give it a try.
:D
