I'll try to be nice here: This is bad. Really, really bad. It was supposed to be a fun romcom about a high schooler who only expresses her real feelings in Russian, but this focuses mostly on the student council eletion, which is as boring as it sounds. The anime tries to make it seem like it's a big deal, but fails to convince. I don't know how those elections go in Japan, but I don't think it matters cause the work doesn't answer the question "why does this character need to have this so much?". Compared to the original anime, this one is less fun and more information (and tragedy). Clearly targeted to an older audience. not just because of the themes that include implicit sexual activity, but also because the cientific language is a lot more complex (I watched the sub version). Oh, yeah and the fanservice. Who would've thought you could sexualize a cell? Still, this anime shows what realistic body positivity is about and amazes you with all the things your body does for you, regardless of how you treat it. Really good if you're struggling with ... Naruto is for anime what Taylor Swift is for pop music: it divides opinions, definitely overrated in some aspects but it's something you should check if this is your thing. Naruto, despite its plot holes and misconstructed characters, is a story that's both too big to just end but too unique to have a satisfatory sequel.
