Koe de Oshigoto! The Animation
add

Both these anime have a similar feel and outwardly appear to be centered around high school students that are thrown into sexual situations. At the center of both anime there is a female that is not as she would outwardly appear. -In B Gata H Kei the main character is openly perverted but is actually rather innocent. -In Koe de Oshigoto! the main character is outwardly an innocent girl that is actually rather perverted. Despite the focus on sex, both are primarily romantic comedies and this would have been much more apparent had Koe de Oshigoto received a full series.

Now I could recommend these anime for their similar outward themes such as a boy looking after/ helping a somewhat eccentric girl but that's not really what makes them similar. On a deeper level both anime deal with themes regarding talent and the effect which it can have on friendships and those around you. -In Hyouka the main character has talent that he does not wish to use and is, to some extent, resented as a result of his natural ability - In Sakurasou no Pet na Kanojo, the main character is an average person surrounded by talent who wants to show his own talent, feeling resentment when he is unable to do so Both anime upturn the usual notion that talent characters have it easy, dealing with the dark side of being a naturally talent person

Both anime involve a harem of girls forming around a guy who doesn't really want a harem; both anime focus on comedy with some light drama throughout. Characters in both anime mostly fall into expected archetypes: -Unnoticed childhood friend -Verbally abusive rich tsundere -ect Also, both anime do a good job of making it unclear who the protagonist will ultimately end up with (a rare thing in harem anime)

Nope this is not a joke, these two series have a fundamental similarity which cannot be ignored. These shows fundamentally break down their respective genre by showing you what would happen if people were really thrown into the situations found in anime: -School days shows what would probably happen if a generic teenager found a harem of girls forming around him - Mahou Shoujo Madoka★Magica shows what would probably happen if young girls were given magical powers and expected to fight

Made by the same produces with many of the jokes in Toaru Majutsu no Index II Specials being heavily reliant upon you having seen the Shana specials Advisable to watch Shakugan no Shana and its specials before watching Toaru Majutsu no Index II Specials
