Both deal with their past lives. They both got the same vibes. NG Life is somehow more light-hearted than Bokura no Kiseki and the latter is more serious.

I get the same feeling from this two--the family and comedy atmosphere. I think, if you like any of the two, I can guarantee that you'll like the other one as well. One is slice-of-life, while the other is fantasy-historical genre.

A princess who gets strong willed as the series goes on and a boy used in fighting swore to protect his princess. He, who go to great lengths even if his life is on the line just to protect her. The main characters are childhood friends too. Cool fighting scenes. There are funny and cute moments but there are times that you just have to be serious. These two are the best romance-fantasy-comedy-adventure anime for me.

...then you might like Haiyore! Nyaruko-san add

It gives the same feeling. Both have supernatural elements and superpowers mixed with comedy. A normal life that starts to change completely. Whenever he meet someone, they gradually start living together in a same house.

...then you might like Gugure! Kokkuri-san add

They have the same feeling and atmosphere. Each episode are combined with different hilarious scenes and will not keep you bored. Both are very entertaining. The other one has supernatural element in it though.

Have this 'fighting' but not really that serious and is hilarious. There are lots of humor in it. What I mean by lots are PLENTIFUL! I would like to recommend the other if you like the other one. Why? It will make you laugh your ass off like what it did on me. Both have UNIQUE and FUNNY characters.

Whenever Seryuu go crazy, her face reminded me of those guilty murderers in Danganronpa. These two focus on killing. If killings and blood suits your taste, these are your cups of tea; that I'm sure you'll love to drink. :)

I find the art similar. In proof with that, the Sun King in SSwU have an older version--I mean, look alike in AgK. You should watch the series if you want to know who am I talking about. Please be aware that the plot are COMPLETELY DIFFERENT.

Chapter 21 page 187 of Tsubasa Chronicle (manga), "No matter what kind of power you use, the life that is lost cannot be restored! No matter how much I miss her, I can't see her anymore!". And that's all I need to explain how these two are similar. They also use magic with lots of action you don't want to miss. They're both fantasy mixed with adventure and can make you cry too.

To me, they are similar if we're talking about immortality. They are similar yet different. Mermaid Forest focus on immortal ones who wants to be normal again. But FMA Brotherhood focus on normal beings who want immortality. Desperately finding a way to each road they take.

I know they are completely nothing alike in your eyes but, they both have too much dialogue which would be considered rather important. They both have future settings; the other is dark while the other is light with humor.

I know, main plots are TOTALLY DIFFERENT. But somewhere they give me the same feeling. It has action, adventure and comedy. Both fun to watch and will make you cry rivers on some part! Well, Samurai Champloo reminded me of Tsubasa Chronicles when talking about travelling. Both have samurais and awesome fights! Some parts will make you laugh your ass off.
