A hidden Jewel is a way to describe this show, it started with an average story and graphics and art that where way under achieving but the story was decent enough to keep me watching. Eventually this show became something to look forward. The accomplishments of Xin are something to be seen, the war strategies are fun to watch and even though the show crosses the line into the supernatural it does it in a tasteful way.

This show has a lot of potential and the art has gotten better, or i have become more accustomed to it, i almost dropped this show right off the ... bat because of the art but after the first 6-10 episodes it gets exponentially better. More excitement, drama and comedy. Love starts to show its rear side and so does mystery.

This show is a very complete show with a great story if you go past the beginning and let yourself be taken for a ride you wont regret.

The potential for this show to end up with a 10 overall is high if played right, though it can also be dropped to a 7-8 if not. As the story goes at this moment it definetly deserves the 9 I offer it.

not nearly as sad as i would have hoped for. clannad is far better if your looking to cry like a little girl you should look at clannad instead since it will immerse you more into the character and give you a devastating blow at the end. in this one i feel a happy ending would make it all good but it didnt happen. this should be one of the emptiest mosr meaningless endings ive seen. not profound enough as i think it could have gone. If the had added a few episodes to this series it could have been ... very succesful, maybe making a deeper relation between the main characters just to end with a little of a happier more meaning full ending. i wouldnt recommend this at all for someone looking for a good ending.

Even if i didnt enjoy this season that much at the beginning (episodes 1 to 9) because it seemed way story less after that it picked up the pace for me. After those annoying First episodes that i believe can push anybody away from this anime the real story started. Passing through what everyone is likely to go through at some moment in life. The tragedy behind this story leaves me speechless and heartbroken, The #1 reason why i would rate this as one of the better animes ive seen is because ive never cried so much in anime. And ive seen animes ... that are generally considered the saddest ones.
This anime has been so sad for me because of what the male main character passes through is unbearable to me. Like everyone else in this world the thought of some of our greatest fears can bring tears to your eyes. And this anime managed to get to where i fear the most. To be completely lost to just get found and lost again. Realistically i would think the character on this anime would have committed suicide. I know i would definitely consider it allot if something like this where to happen to me.
Episode 23 was by me rated like 7 (boring and story less tho sort of nice how help comes before they met)
Episode fell like a treat on the last 5 or so minutes. it went over the really sad part and it showed an ending that leaves in my opinion little to no doubt. (first half of episodes 24 was sort of boring tho)

I really liked this anime! it dosent have all those extremely complicated love triangles you find in every other and you still manage to enjoy it allot. it feels a bit more real than most other animes (related to real life) and i can see why someone can enjoy this.

Veredict: Tho Quite slow most of the time its still an anime i could rewatch sometime and it had an very nice ending as well.

I would recommend this anime for anyone looking for a romantic one. I consider this a very original story line and equally original characters. Tho sometimes it got a little bit slow i still was able to enjoy it quite much. Only regret as in most anime's is the ending, i wish they had been a little more story to the ending. Call me queer but i do love to endings that finish with a kiss :) I hope they put some additional OVAs in there(even a new season)... maybe a little of what happens right next and then a little bit of ... what happens in 3 - 10 years later. if added ovas and they are a follow up to the original storyline where it got left i could rate the overall to 10.

Only reason i watch this is because im a horny pig... he he. no, really theirs not much to watch.. and i wanted to watch something echi... its kind of entretaining and has some funny stuff.. but wouldnt ever rewatch.. its way to typical of a story and it has very few originalities to it. But its always not to bad to watch stuff like these
