"What would you do if tomorrow was the end of the world?"
Honestly, this review will be the hardest for me to write, Dead Dead Demons Dededede Destruction(DDDDD) requires me to do a detailed review, otherwise everything would just be vague; considering that the person who will read this will have in mind the possibility of watching it, I will try to be as logical as possible.
At first, Dead Dead Demons Dededede Destruction(DDDDD), is an anime that explores several layers that make up the world around us, such as: The media, the government, supernatural beings, terrorist and anti-terrorist groups, and mainly, the human being. The anime
...
tries to approach such themes in a realistic way, whether exploring their actions or lack of action (negligence) in a certain problem by human beings, such problems that, initially, arise after one alien invasion, this invasion would later become known in history as "the 31/8 incident", what triggered several problems in the story.
The story begins by following the routine of some girls who live their lives in a carefree and fleeting way. Among this group, two girls stand out, with whom the anime would develop their relationship and their dilemmas (Kadode and Ouran). Kadode and Ouran have been friends since childhood, without great expectations for the future, the two just follow their lives in a relaxed way. Even Kadode's sense of justice or Ouran's fun paranoia are something no that serve as a life goal for them, because they both have only each other and together they are complete. While the story shows the life of Kadode and Ouran, the anime also shows the alien invasion and its consequences, the government tries to move to prevent a greater disaster, the population is apprehensive, the media speculates with its conspiracies, and when you least expect it...Not even the peaceful lives of teenagers like Kadode and Ouran are safe from the chaos that is emerging in the world.
Dead Dead Demons Dededede Destruction it's not a story that just focuses on one story. At some points the anime will show the reality of people from different realities, some with a sense of justice, who later form a group against the government, some in a radical way and others in a more peaceful way. The story tries to explore human beings in general, their limitations and their sins, their cruelty and their sweetness, everything as it really is, that "raw reality" in its most complete form and cruel, without fantasies or metaphors, and the aliens are there just as an effect, because they are simply not really the danger, but rather the human mind and its distortions with stereotypes and misinformation.
The story follows this line of reasoning, while showing Kadode and Ouran living their peaceful lives, the anime will try to show at what point that chaos that precedes the end of the world will reach these girls. Not only to them, but to all human beings,Kadode and Ouran is just an pretext from the author to develop the "end of the world" for humans chaos that he wanted to establish in this anime, which in my opinion, was done in a phenomenal way.
Dead Dead Demons Dededede Destruction raises the profile of social problems such as poverty, prostitution, corruption, terrorism, media manipulation, prejudice... among other issues that you will see during the episodes.
The pace is slow and prolonged, everything is done in a detailed and logical way. Both the development of specific subjects, as well as central subjects (Kadode and Ouran), everything is done in full but in stages.
The animation is good, it's not "godlike" level, but it's quite solid, even the 3D.
The soundtrack is great during the episodes, most of them show more tension or drama to the story. The opening is beautiful, it literally sums up the anime perfectly, both the lyrics of the song, as the visuals. The endings are also good and the voice acting fits the characters perfectly.
The characters themselves are representative of human beings. They are basically realistic, some evolve and others regress. They evolve towards an achievement with friends, family, work, school, maturity or in relationships with other people. While others retreat into crime, terrorism, hatred, corruption, depression... I think it's clear what I meant. There is no way I can talk separately about what each character is like, because for me, they are all simply human beings in the real world. Some you will like and others you will simply hate/dislike. In terms of plot, all were essential to the history and development of society, whether for good or for bad.
I wanted to write more, but if I did, I would probably give spoilers. In view of this, I prefer to end here.
Final conclusion: It's a good anime for someone who likes social themes about the world as it is. With flawed, imperfect human beings, driven by money, lust or friendships like the two girls (Kadode and Ouran), Even imperfections, when done in detail, become interesting enough to learn about human nature in its most cruel and docile point of view depending on the situation...
Remember aliens are just a future danger, the real terror is ignorance and human cruelty.

Ok, I know this is just one of the many negative reviews this anime has, but I'll try to be less subjective and more "surgical" in this review, to tell you how bad it is, and why it is disappointing this whole season.
First of all, I want to state here that I am just a viewer of the anime, I have not read the manga.
The first season was a dazzling visual and mystical storyline, which pitted people against each other in the tower to achieve their goals. The animation was smooth and colorful, with engaging soundtracks during the fights, and the fights themselves were always
...
well directed and exciting.
Did I like the first season? Honestly, I thought it was average, because sometimes I felt the pace was "rushed", rhythm I say is "in a hurry": Season 1 addressed mysteries and a logical dynamic between the characters, but the story itself was "vague", there were moments where I didn't know where it would go, and the ending wasn't satisfactory either. but overall, I don't think it was bad the anime as a whole, the only thing that bothered me was the pace/story, that's all, the rest was good.
In view of such experience that I had. I thought the pace would improve in the second season, and maybe the story would be more organized, I was a fool for thinking and creating such expectations.
The problems I mentioned remained worse. And new problems in production began to emerge.
Season 2 fails to introduce the characters. As someone who only watched the anime, I found the arrival of the characters in this second season to be so illogical and it seemed like the characters only existed to "fill" the void in the plot of this anime. They were just there as a supporting cast for Viole. The other old characters were simply discarded and new ones were created without any explanation. They show up, they have conversations monotonous, with generic speeches, and without development, some support Viole, and others want to fight against Viole, that's all, they just serve to "decorate" the story. the interactions are simply boring to follow, they are not superficial, I see them more as something "meaningless". Like they are just there to add to the script and give continuity to the anime, none of them is really "interesting" to watch. The animation is terrible, one of the worst I've seen this year. With still scenes, blurred scenarios, giving the impression of something made in a cell phone application. The fights are quick, there is simply no action, only visual and sound effects appear, scenes that should represent the "character's movement" in the fights, but which is actually just a sequence of poorly made images. The color is a little dull, I'm not saying it's black and white, but the colors in this second season just seem "a shade weaker than usual", thus representing something generic but which, when done in a hurry, became something horrible.
The sounds are insignificant. Both the soundtrack, which is forgettable, and the opening and ending songs, that besides having "ugly" visuals of just images, without any movement, the music is also something that you won't remember after listening to it. I have nothing to complain about the dubbing, but I also have nothing to "praise" about the dubbing, it's just "ok".
The story is confusing, and you even start to doubt Viole's motivations, because the anime makes it seem like he doesn't take his goal seriously. And this doesn't just happen to him, but to everyone else, all the characters seem to have superficial motivations. The tower itself, which was something mysterious, has become just a "video game" where you pass levels, the tower story simply doesn't exist this season, while the first approached in a mysterious way,The second season barely mentions the history of the tower, making everything seem like something that exists just to pass levels and whoever conquers her will have their wish fulfilled as a reward, the story simply lost the shine of mysticism that the first one tried to show.
The plot continues to be a complete mess, with characters appearing without "logic" for that moment occurs. You just don't know where this is going, because it will be something which will not motivate you at all. You watch, follow this plot, and then you will ask yourself: "what did I watch?".
I could easily rate this as a "0/10", but even if that option existed, I wouldn't do it because the first season one was visually beautiful, despite the rushed pace.
I wonder: Where did the mystical scenes with mysteries about the tower go? Where did those characters that made me laugh? Where did that soft, colorful animation go? Where to? Where to...?...It's all just... poorly done.

"Nige Jouzu no Wakagimi" or "The Elusive Samurai" it's an anime peculiar in terms of visual art, comedy and the representation of that feudal time chaotic and centered by wars and dominations.
The history is about a young man who lives running away, his name is Tokiyuki Houjo. Tokiyuki Houjo, still as a child, had to witness the fall of his family(houjo) that after a betrayal of Ashikaga Takauji, brought death to the Houjo clan and persecution of survivors, in view of this shocking turn of events, Tokiyuki as a survivor plays the role of rebuilding his clan and taking revenge on Ashikaga Takauji.
Tokiyuki
...
has a ability: to escape
In normal stories, this type of protagonist would have skills with the katana or bow and arrow, Not here, Tokiyuki will simply use escape, something used in children's games, as a "weapon" to get revenge on Ashikaga Takauji.
The characters are, to say the least, interesting. Tokiyuki as a child, and given his age, he still has an extroverted personality still present even before the end of his clan, usually revenge stories tend to make the characters automatically change moments before something horrible happens to the point where they try to get revenge on someone with an incessant thirst of revenge joined to hatred. Tokiyuki no, even though he has to seek revenge, his old personality before the event with his clan, yet remains. He seeks allies and tries through the union of other people, the long-awaited revenge, the story will show your personal development with other people at all times, highlighting his in struggles and emotional growth throughout the episodes. The other characters lack depth, but they are still interesting to follow, whether due to the comical interactions or the unique personality of each one, they still manage to be good characters for the overall plot of the anime.
The animation is beautiful. The scenario look like paintings from museum art, but in movement. The fights are aesthetic, with dynamic lines and mixed colors with light and dark tones they bring to life the feudal era that the anime tries to portray. The art itself is expressive, each anime character has a unique ability, and the anime's art exemplifies this, for example: a character has eye abilities, can see long distances, the art will reinforce this skill, highlighting lines and colors unique to that skill. The art also reinforces how each character feels, in fights when one character hates the other, the art highlights shading and darker colors to make the scene stand out in a more rustic way.
The opening song is great, and the soundtrack fits perfectly well with the atmosphere of the anime. The closing, is excellent in terms of information and visuals, it shows how kumakura it is today, with tourism and geographical beauty present in the closing animation.
Maybe the only thing that really bothers me about this anime is the comedy, it's not bad, I just think it's weird. During moments of fights or serious conversations, sometimes there is a slight comical tone in the characters' expressions, They're not funny, but I also don't see them as horrible for the experience, in my opinion, the comic moments try to soften scenes that would turn into something brutal(like fights),or show that Tokiyuki's childish mind still remains the same, not 100% intact, but he still hasn't lost his naivety and friendliness that every child should have. In other words,I see the comical moments being Tokiyuki's point of view, with mixed emotions between taking revenge, hating those who betrayed him, or remaining in his sweet and fun way of "escaping" the world. I see this comedy as something that shouldn't seem funny, but rather something to show how children think, idealizing what is evil, what is foolish, or what is good in people. Remembering that this is my opinion, perhaps strange, but I still think it is coherent. The comedic moments are not something to laugh at, they are something to thinking about how Tokiyuki sees all those people and that even after witnessing so many deaths, he still remains a child.
The anime as a whole is fun to watch. The story, art, comedic moments and characters are interesting to follow and you will hardly get bored. Just watch and and you won't regret it, I guarantee.

"It's never too late to follow your dreams"
Shinmai Ossan Boukensha, Saikyou Party ni Shinu hodo Kitaerarete Muteki ni Naru, explores the life of Rick, who at the age of 30 wants to become an adventurer, where this dream comes through a simple heroic story that he read in a book, but for him, it is something special and inspiring enough for him to work hard to achieve, it through disciplineds trainings. The premise itself seems interesting, but over the course of the episodes It becomes increasingly evident how bad this anime is in many ways, I will develop this idea throughout the review.
The story, as
...
previously stated, is simplistic or better said, generic. This anime is the same as what you may have seen, which is something like: "a protagonist trains hard to achieve his goals, but there will be people who don't accept him", this type of story only in the summer season of 2024(the year this anime was released, in case you are reading this in the future) there are two other animes with this same premise which I left in quotes, are they:Ore wa Subete wo "Parry" suru: Gyaku Kanchigai no Sekai Saikyou wa Boukensha ni Naritai, and another is Tsue to Tsurugi no Wistoria. And I'm not just talking about this 2024 season in question, currently, every year, this type of anime where the only thing that's different is the characters and animation, are made regularly, everyone copies each other. However, unlike these two that I mentioned previously, the anime I'm reviewing here manages to be the worst of the three in several ways. A story just about training, fighting monsters, fighting villains, protecting the innocent, and that's it. That's the story, I literally just summarized the entire content of the anime.
Already the characters in this anime one are terrible in many ways, starting with Rick, who is simply a lazy-written character, it seems like the author doesn't really care about the characters in this anime. I say this because Rick is literally a generic character who trains, trains, trains...The anime will always only make this explicit in each episode, making the character something empty, because it lacks emotions, objectives, an interesting life story, and development it's just about training, training and training... Just that and nothing more. The other characters are no different either, the entire cast only has two roles in the story:help or hinder Rick, that's all. None of them are explored enough to be interesting for the plot. They are all generic, empty and you simply can't take any of them seriously.
The animation is also not good, the line/art itself is ugly to look at. The scenarios have terrible animations, the fights have almost no movement between the characters. The animation in general is mediocre, it's the same ones you see in low-budget isekai/fantasy animes, everything is forgettable and visually it's poorly done.
The sound is also negligible. The opening and closure are bad, you will hardly remember the song you hear in both, because both the instruments and the lyrics of the song are insignificant, as well as the poorly done visuals. It's all as forgettable as most isekai anime you've probably watched.
The world itself seems to be the same as you will see in other anime throughout your life, with monsters, powers and a basic power system, there is not much to say because the anime doesn't manage to develop the initial ideas of the world well, "but why?" because the story is focused on showing how much Rick is improving in training. The author just doesn't care much about it.
Well, just don't watch this, it's generic, the direction/animation and characters are terrible. It's something you could watch to pass the time if it had something good, but in this case there's nothing. Anything...It's all just simplistic, empty and poorly done. Just.

Every anime that exists has an "Artistic Style" in its production, while some often copy others, there are rare animes that try to become unique.
If I had to say something that Tsue to Tsurugi no Wistoria has of "unique artistic style", it would be the composition present in the animation, with a certain fluidity in moments of action and along with a striking soundtrack, the anime in itself becomes pleasurable to watch, even though the plot is average at best, If you're not picky enough, this anime is the one for you.
Tsue to Tsurugi no Wistoria is an anime that has a generic plot, the
...
story focuses mainly on Will and his goal of reaching the person he loves, while he does not have the same requirements as the other characters of this magical world (he can't use magic), ends up being neglected by some students and teachers, with its potential being underestimated for much of history.
This type of plot is something quite typical in shounen animes, it's almost as if it were a "copy" of some other animes, where there is always a protagonist who suffers from not having the same requirements that most of the characters have, so the others decide to intimidate the main character, but he surprises them later in the story showing that training can make them strong, and soon after this type of protagonist would surprise everyone... Tsue to Tsurugi no Wistoria it's that kind of anime, only in a fantasy world. This type of story is so common in isekais and fantasy anime, that honestly when this type of story comes out as an anime adaptation I'm like: why? Again this?
I just made it clear what type of story you will watch and as justification for my rating later to of read this in full. In short, the story is boring, it seems like a copy, there is no originality in the plot, and if it weren't for the animation, soundtrack and direction, this would be a terrible anime in all.
The characters could save this...but that doesn't happen in this anime. From dialogues aimed only at belittling the protagonist, or in interactions that are shameful to follow, the characters They can't hook you in any way. Basically the interactions between the characters are: one character hates Will, so intimidates him, wants to fight against him or simply wants to get in the way of his goal(reach the person she has loved since childhood), Soon after this the fight occurs, and Will proves that he is strong leaving that character who wanted to harm him speechless; already others, those who accept Will, act with sympathy and do their best to help him in his goal. And that's it, there's not much more to say about other characters besides Will, none of them deserve to even be mentioned here, as they don't have much importance to the point of you liking them, I read the manga a little, and given the current chapter I'm in, I can say,no secondary character is explored enough to be "interesting", basically they exist only to help or hinder Will, there is no clear development in these characters. The only "notable" character among them in the story, in terms of development, is Will, the author simply doesn't care much about exploring other characters' writing.
Now talking about the animation style,I personally like the visuals of this anime, from the fights that have an above average level in their composition in the fight scenes, with a constant movement of the characters in scenes like the one described, as well as in moments where the angle of characters while talking gives the anime a visually beautiful style, and also what I liked most about the animation: the shading style, I like how the studio at times in the anime, there is shading in the character design, giving them a sophisticated appearance, basically the animation mixes light and dark tones in the characters with a certain polished animation during the process which made it, for me, something visually beautiful and unique. In general, the animation is great, the studio involved put excellent effort into composing the artistic style of this anime, being the main highlight of Tsue to Tsurugi no Wistoria, its animation being fluid and exotic.
About the sounds:Tsue to Tsurugi no Wistoria also stands out in its sound composition, from the soundtrack played during fights or in tense moments, placing emphasis on precise moments like these, making, for example, fights in epic moments. The dubbing is average, personally I didn't really like the voice of some characters, like Will's voice, which sounds like a child's, even though he's a teenager, but overall it's not something that is terrible. The opening song I also don't think is very striking, even though the visuals are beautiful, as for the closing song, I found it more "good" compared to the opening. Talking about anime sounds, whether they are bad or good, is It's something personal, it depends on each person, but in general the sounds of Tsue to Tsurugi no Wistoria are acceptable, especially the soundtrack, which is beautiful.
In general, When I think about the positive and negative points of this anime, I think that this anime, even though it is generic, with bad characters, the artistic style of the anime makes it worth watching, It's more like a "pass time". I recommend this for people who like fighting anime with above average animation. but in writing value, if you're expecting something intellectually interesting, this isn't for you, it's a good anime to watch because of the animation and fights, just that and nothing more.
