I first saw this after seeing the first sew seasons and immediately loved it as a young girl. I thought the characters were interesting and I wanted to learn why Rika was so cold and nasty. It was very interesting seeing her develop and become a better person throughout the series. Everytime there was a new transformation I could not contain my excitement!

I last watched about 2 years ago and I was completely shocked at the amount of violence I did not notice before. Such as when that girl's digimon got killed. I was shocked at how evil and violent that scene was. I ... could not stop crying. I do not think that scene was appropriate for children. I was heart-broken as I loved this Digimon dearly and he loved this owner with all his heart. Even though this Digimon who killed this Digimon was evil, at the end he learnt to be more caring after all the evil things he did and all the Digimon he killed. Which was nice to see.

Overall A good series, but the violence was far too terrible for a kids show and even at my age I still find it disturbing. Fans will know the particular scene I'm talking about. To others it probably wasn't too bad, but I thought it was awful

This series is an amazing series. It was the first anime I came across after Pokemon and totally fell for the show. The lead character Sakura is likable, fun and so cute!
I have never read the manga before, nor have I seen the japanese anime. I was only brought up watching the english adaption. Which is very good and extremely fun to watch, I started watching it when I was 9 and I still love the show at 19!
The only thing is with the english adaption, they have changed a lot about the show and made it more 'kid friendly'. So all the homosexual parts ... of the show are meant to be more 'innocent' in the english adaptation. But some parts are obvious Such as Li's crush on Yue or Tomoyo's crush on Sakura, which are quite obvious in the english adaption after they have toned it down to make it more 'kid friendly'. I mean, who can't understand Li's blushing and running away? It's obvious in english!
