If you don't care about this story being historically inaccurate, I would give it a try; its good. It looks boring but it keeps you entertained. Everyone is very well rounded. (MAJOR SPOILER WARNING) The only problem for me is the changing of main characters. I am all about supporting side characters and developing them because it makes a good story great. But I personally get too attached to main characters and if they were to die or be completely disregarded. I drop the series. Its who I am. If you aren't the same I would definitely give it a chance.

The character development ... is insane. Everyone is very well rounded. The original main character who dies wanted to take the easy way out in life. But he threw it all away for what he truly believes in, which is heliocentrism. I was excited for the story to progress where in my mind he enters university and eventually proves heliocentrism while overcoming many obstacles. Then he died, and when he died so did the story for me.

The unique design of the MC first got me hooked onto the show. From the perspective of any big Manhwa reader, you would love this. They really delve deep into the video game mechanics, which adds layers to the story. I tend to not enjoy these kinds of manga or anime that have this no-risk (not death) game kind of concept, but this anime executes it wonderfully. The fight scenes are very well done, choreographed well and the animation itself is crisp. It's one of those shows where I can just shut off my brain and enjoy myself in any kind of environment. If you ... are on the fence about checking this thing out due to its premise, I would urge you to please give this a chance. I always have this 3-episode rule I like to follow: if you don't enjoy it after the first 3 episodes or aren't even the least bit intrigued, then perhaps it's not for you.

Heavenly delusion is confusing but interesting! It's like the promised Neverland mixed with a post-apocalyptic genre. I've been intrigued the whole way through and the fight scenes are beautiful. Really good teamwork between the two main characters. Both feel really needed. Very unique story almost unpredictable. They give you a LOT OF HINTS to certain things. If you really pay attention you can find out stuff most viewers won't realize or think of until revealed to them.
The art style itself stands out it feels like a 1990 anime got remade to fit today's animation standards. A lot of unexpected moments, a must-watch if you ... are interested in anything seinen related. Overall Just a fun good watch :)

Steins; Gate is a challenging anime to enjoy due to its complex plot and unrelatable boring main character. The MC is very cringe-worthy, he talks about topics that are difficult to understand. I feel like half the time I'm watching some nerd talk to himself. To be honest, that's what it really is. The story itself is confusing and requires extra research or explanations to fully grasp. Due to the time travel aspect, it's the kind of anime where the last episode is like the first. Everything is connected. I normally enjoy time travel anime but they have to keep my interest like erased. This ... one however did not do it for me at all. I dropped it at episode 3 and I'm not sure if the later episodes offer a worthwhile payoff. Overall, the anime is uninteresting and if you don't want to watch an anime where you have to force yourself to watch the beginning this is not for you.
