I went into this show thinking it might have the same energy as Delicious in Dungeon, so that might've made me more bias. But it was nothing like the other series other than taking place in a dungeon. This show does not have much of a plot at all. There is no end goal. It is just two cute girls managing a dungeon (like a hotel). Most of the plot is episodic so you can tune in at any time and not really miss any continuity plot points. It's a great watch if you have a lot of free time and want something mindless to ... end the day with. The plot is super simple and there is not a lot at stake.

The art is the same as the plot. Basic and a little boring. It uses light pastel colors for the palette for the most part. And that's where the interesting art direction ends. The animation and style are simple.... to tell a simple story.

The characters are hard to remember. None of them had any character development other than the MC. The MC's development can be shortened into "master adventurer turned manager." There are no plots where they deal with internal conflicts or greater forces of external conflicts. At most it was different adventurers being a nuisance or monsters in the dungeon.

I enjoyed it the first few episodes. As the plot went on, I realized it was the same thing over and over.

This was an great watch from start to finish. I usually always go into a video game adaptation with some suspicions because of how it is treated in the west, but I cam out of season one surprised. I hopped into season two and my blown expectations were further exploded.

The story takes a pretty linear path. It did its best with given how the original source had branching paths. The plot was able to dive into different paths and still tell a coherent story. Much like the game, the story is great. It got me thinking about life and existentialism because of sentient machinery. ... The end was nice. It deterred from the original a bit (I won't spoil here) but it's still a nice touch. It wrapped everything up and left me wanting more.

The art was amazing. It has been awhile since I've seen such a beautifully drawn and animation series. You can tell there was a lot of love and passion placed into the series to get it done. The style mixed both 2d and CGI animation; the integration was smooth. There are times where it was a bit out of place but the storytelling and background work doesn't make you linger on it for long. The style is very fitting towards the original and for animation sake (getting simplified a bit).

All of the characters were casted amazingly. Everyone's voice fit their character with how much emotion was portrayed. The characters themselves followed the source material. They're flawed yet powerful. All of the characters deals with loneliness, death, meaning of their existence, friendship, family, and so forth. All of these themes lets the viewers relate more on a personal level even if they're all machinery.

This is a must watch. Even if you're not into the video games or never heard of the series, check it out. It's made for everyone and not only for those that has seen the source material already.

This was an amazing watch from start to finish. It takes the premise of alien invasion that everyone knows by now and adds a little twist. The story humanizes the aliens, some things I don't see often (esp with western media). Aliens are usually seen as aliens; they're outsiders. DDDD gives both sides of the story.

The plot is slow paced. There's a lot of time for the show to build tension and tell the stories of all the MCs and side characters. There are many things you can miss if you aren't paying attention. There's a lot of minor details that foreshadows a lot ... of other plot points.

The soundtrack and art was great for this show. Nothing particularly stood out to me. If there was CGI, it didn't stand out to me. Everything blended well together.

The characters all look different and have their own unique personalities. Yes, every character falls into an archetype, but they also leave its bubble. There's representation for everyone in this show (CW: US orange man makes an appearance at one point). Each characters have their flaws, but in the end they were able to make it through the day with perseverance. Every character bounce off of each other. An action has a reaction; it isn't only a "this happened and then this happened"

I thoroughly enjoyed tuning in every week. 8/10

With how much toxic relationships seen in BL series, its refreshing to see a show that portrays a healthy BL relationship (relative to popular manga/webtoons). It was a great watch from start to finish; the only gripe I had on it was the show not focusing enough on the main couple (which the hypnosis and cover art suggests). The show goes into three couples including the main one, and gets a little lost a long the way. It does recoup at the end.

The show doesn't focus on sex only. It mostly focuses on the daily lives of the characters being in the film club. ... We get to see their struggles and how they share a passion for filmmaking. It's a solid watch. The OST is good. The VAs did a great job.

This show is an interesting watch from start to finish. I did not mean interesting as in it kept my attention the whole time though. It was interesting in the fact that it was very confusing at times to keep track of. I'm not sure if the manga was like this too, but it feels like some plot points were not discussed when it should have.

The art style and animation is great for a series airing weekly. The MC is generic. Short black haired girl that is OP. Her powers are set back only by a curse.

I think this is a good watch ... if you want something to relax to at the end of the day. It isn't a groundbreaking series.

This is a beautifully done "damsel-in-distress needs saving" anime but with a twist: there is magic.

Story: 7/10
The plot has been done so many times throughout literature and media. A damsel in a toxic environment that needs saving. This anime doesn't focus on that aspect a lot; a majority of it is about Mio healing from her traumas. It's a slow burn and her healing is also as slow. It gets frustrating at times because you want her to man up and stand up for herself, but it takes on a realistic approach of a character not changing over night. She still has trauma responses ... even though she is out of the toxic environment. The romance is nice, too. It's cheesy. Its sweet.

Art: 9/10
Its beautifully drawn. I love all the cherry blossom motifs and magic animation. It's on a similar level to Demon Slayer in animation (with less budget). Any shortcuts taken by the team is overshadowed by beautiful backgrounds and storytelling.

Sound: 7/10
The dub and sub are both great. Usually dubbing puts me off, but theyre both wonderfully casted. The soundtrack fits well with the show, too.

Character: 7/10
There is depth to the characters. Well, there is enough depth to tell the story and the MCs, but some of the side characters are just there. Very few of the side characters have depth to them other than "I grew up privileged so I'm mean." The show did amazingly focused on Mio (as expected as she's the main character). Kudo's character is a bit more nuanced. They don't established well enough other than being the lover who loves unconditionally.

Overall: I enjoyed this anime. I wouldn't mind watching S2. Its beautifully made but it falls victim to being cliche.

Story: The story doesn't really have a plot other than different entities trying to get the juice bars. Don't think about the story too much. It's made to be simple and full of toilet humor. It got me to chuckle twice.

Art: The 3d and 2d art goes well together (my favourite being the scene with the 3d fishes coming out of the sewers). It doens't feel jarring. It gives off the same energy as The Amazing World of Gumball.

Sound: The soundtrack neat. The music and SFX goes well with the movie

Character: don't overthink any of the character designs. They're unique in their ... own ways.

Enjoyment: I enjoyed it. I wouldn't rewatch this again though. It doesn't add much to my life and doesn't make me think. I would highly recommend it if you want something to not think about. It is great at that. It is on the same level as Cocaine Bear; there is a lot of violence, toilet humour, and vulgar language

Story: 5/10
This story is pretty average. It asks the existential question of "how much of yourself can you lose before you're no longer human" but with mystery "matter." The story is a bit confusing at first but it gets better by the end. There are a few twists here and there, but if you watch a lot of anime you can see it coming. I do like that they tried something new in the genre

Art: 7/10
You can tell there was some budget that went into the serie. It's simple, but there's a lot of panning shots and still parts for limited animation. It isn't MAPPA ... quality but there is a variety of camera angles and interesting shots every once in awhile

Sound: 5/10
The music is neat. The voice acting is what gets me. I watched the dubbed version and the girl MC voice annoyed me, so I couldn't fully invest in her character. The male MC voice doesn't match him at all. All the side characters and girl MC voices gives off teenager energy, whilst the male MC voice sounds like he's in his 20s.

Characters: 5/10
Pretty basic. I don't know any of their names except Gummy (the hamster like blob). I only remember its name because I like hamsters. There are scenes to give depth to the characters but it feels out of place and shoe-horned in. The characters aren't properly introduced and falls into archetypes. Makes it really hard to enjoy the serie when I dislike the MC so much.

Enjoyment: 5/10
I had little expectations going into this because it was made by Netflix. And I came out not a changed man. It added nothing to my life, but it was a good time-waster

There are better series out there in the sci-fi genre that tackles existential questions and exploring the unknown. I wasted my time so you don't have to.

This season is a good second season. It takes place right after season one and all characters gets some good screentime. This is very reminiscent of early 2000s anime and I am here for it.

The story is like any other sports anime. The underdog loses at first and then gets stronger (in this case new parts of his rising impact ability). The show doesn't do anything revolutionary in the sports genre. Simple sport with a supernatural twist to make things more interesting. I love how they made all the American characters yappers, very much like us.

A downside is the amount of fat jokes ... there are. One or two is fine but it feels like there's more than last season. This anime feels like the target audience are teens, but the jokes don't quite land as such.

This is a very relaxing watch. It doesn't take a lot of brain power to understand the plot but it also numb the mind with how little plot there is. The story is a slow burn from start to finish and explores the characters dynamics and feelings. Each episode there's progress with the MCs relationship; it doesn't tease the viewers or make things feel unrealistic.

With the setting taking place outside of Japan, i expected the characters to have more of a caricature of English people and Indian people, yet we don't get it at all. Everyone is portrayed as "normal" if you will (unlike ... many other anime that are weirdly racially motivated).

It's a simple historical romance. It's a good watch after a long day.
