I just got done watching it, and genuinely loved it. I really didn't know Bandai had it in them with the best animation Gintama has seen ever. Fluid, and very well structured fights, with an improved art style. I'm a Gintama fan, and this is the first time I'm writing a review, but fuck, they did the finale justice. Don't want to go into too much details, but I was crying the entire movie (bittersweet).
All in all, seemed like they packed in quite a bit into the movie, could have paced it slightly better, but it genuinely, made some manga moments better, fleshing it out

and making it more impactful. Story is definitely a 10 for me, Characters as usual a 10. Sorachi has his way with words and people. Animation is definitely amazing. Certain moments in the middle, was kind of confusing to me (Tama), but the fucking fight with Gin and the transitions! That's the best use of transitions I've seen in an anime. Period. Way better than the Forever Yorozuya movie. If you're a comedy/action anime fan, please watch the series. It has a really good conclusion as well, something a lot of animes can boast about.
